Justice Halilu Yusuf of Federal Capital Territory ( FCT ) high court has again denied granting bail to Maryam Sanda, wife of late Bilyamin Bello bail who is standing trial for culpable homicide and conspiracy despite her 3months pregnancy claim.
The presiding judge who refused to rule on the second bail application filed by her lawyer, Joseph Dawodu on January 25th following a motion of appeal filed on December 28th, 2017 before an appeal court.
The judge told the defence lawyer that until a notice of discontinuation of appeal is filed before the court will decide on the bail application of the 1st defendant.
The judge then adjourned the matter until March 19, h 2018.
