The Governor made his intention known while speaking at the state's executive council meeting in Abeokuta, on Wednesday.
Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, has said he would be contesting to return as a Senator after the expiration of his second term as Governor.
Amosun would be seeking the ticket of the senatorial seat in the Ogun Central senatorial district.
The governor made his intention known while speaking at the state's executive council meeting in Abeokuta, on Wednesday.
Amosun was elected a senator in 2003 before contesting and winning the vote to become Governor of the state in 2011.
