Robert Sylvester Kelly, better known as R. Kelly, who is famous for his music, has been accused of molesting his 14-year-old cousin.

The singer’s brother, Carey Kelly, in his track 'I confess' had accused R Kelly of spreading Sexually Transmitted Disease (STDs).

The track, which is a response to R. Kelly’s 19-minute song 'I admit', further revealed that the singer molested their 14-year-old cousin and probably got her pregnant.

In a recent interview with Tasha K., published on unwinewithtashak.com, Carey disclosed that the singer’s character began to slip in 2001 when their mother and Aaliyah died.

“You give people chances to change before you put their business out there, before you actually say ‘enough it enough'. Things happen in people’s lives to the point where you feel like it’s a wake-up call and now they get a chance to right their wrongs,” Carey said.

He said he decided to grant the interview “to set the record straight and clear his name".

According to Carey, he feels R. Kelly targets young girls because he was molested as a child.

"Robert has a control problem. And the only reason why he targets little girls, now that I’m older, I understand. He was molested; I was molested [too], but I didn’t turn out that way. I became a protector of children. I didn’t want kids to go through what I went through…especially my daughters," Carey said.

Speaking on R. Kelly’s relationship with their sister Aaliyah, Carey said they had a strange brother-sister relationship saying it made you scratch your head.

"He [was] overprotective of her when he shouldn’t be. I picked it up when he was working on her album and he started producing ‘Age Ain’t Nothin But a Number'. I’m listening to the [lyrics] and I’m paying closer attention to how they’re vibing…they’d be right next to each other, hugged up and different things of that nature. That didn’t seem right with him being the age that he was, and her being the age that she was.”

In the last few years, R. Kelly has been linked to several child molestation cases. In March 2018, one of his former child girlfriends claimed that the singer started grooming her at the age of 14 to become his sex pet in a “sex dungeon”.

In an interview with BBC, Kitti Jones disclosed that their relationship started in 2011.

Jones said: "I was introduced to one of the girls, that he told me he ‘trained’ since she was 14; those were his words. I saw that she was dressed like me, that she was saying the things I’d say and her mannerisms were like mine. That’s when it clicked in my head that he had been grooming me to become one of his pets. He calls them his pets."
