Fayemi Names Wife Chairperson Of 37-Man Committee To Inaugurate Him As Governor

Named not just on the comittee but as Chairperson is his wife, Erelu Bisi Adeyele-Fayemi. According to a statement by Yinka Oyebode, Special Adviser (Media) to the Governor-elect, "the Committee is to liaise with officials of the outgoing administration and relevant agencies and stakeholders for proper coordination and execution of a successful inauguration ceremony".

Kayode Fayemi, Ekiti State Governor-elect, has announced a 37-man inauguration committee “charged with the responsibility of organising a hitch-fee ceremony to usher in the new administration on October 16”.

Named not just on the comittee but as Chairperson is his wife, Erelu Bisi Adeyele-Fayemi.

According to a statement by Yinka Oyebode, Special Adviser (Media) to the Governor-elect, "the Committee is to liaise with officials of the outgoing administration and relevant agencies and stakeholders for proper coordination and execution of a successful inauguration ceremony".

Drawn from the private and public sectors, "the terms of reference for the committee members include: develop a framework for formal communications with relevant government agencies and stakeholders for a smooth inauguration ceremony; design and implement programmes for the inauguration ceremony; carry out a comprehensive assessment of facilities and venues for various events; ensure thorough supervision and excellent delivery of outlined events and activities leading to a successful ceremony".

In addition, the committee is expected to handle guest management, media coverage, crowd control, security, as well as general entertainment for the event, which will hold at Fajuyi Park, Ekiti State.
