Oil And Gas Export Sales Increased By 35%, Says NNPC

According to the NNPC statement, Nigeria also flared 721.83 million standard cubic feet of gas daily, which is 10.33 per cent of its gas volume for the month in view.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has announced an increase in export sales of crude oil and gas by 35.75 per cent, represented as N416.07 million.

The figures, which were disclosed in a press statement on Thursday, October 4, 2018, was for the month of June 2018.

According to the statement, which was signed by Ndu Ughamadu, Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of the NNPC, Nigeria also flared 721.83 million standard cubic feet of gas daily, which is 10.33 per cent of its gas volume for the month in view.

This the corporation says is less than the 10.4 per cent, or 813.37mmscfd average for June 2017 to June 2018. Also, 209.55bcf of gas was supplied in June 2018. Out of the total, 113.08bcf was commercialised. The domestic market received 36.23bcf, while 76.85bcf was exported.
