Teenagers Arraigned For Stealing Grinding Machines From Lagos Market

Sergeant Mike Unah, the police prosecutor, said they stole the machines from one Bolaji Mukaila at Temidire Folashade Tinubu Ojo Market, Ilupeju, Lagos.

The Nigerian Police Force has arraigned two teenagers, Muideen Saubana (19) and Ayobami Adeyeye (18) for allegedly stealing two Honda grinding machines worth N120,000.

They were arraigned at the Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday before Magistrate A.A. Fashola, following their arrest by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command.

They were arraigned for conspiracy and theft. The offence contravened Sections 287 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 (Revised).

Sergeant Mike Unah, the police prosecutor, said they stole the machines from one Bolaji Mukaila on September 16, at Temidire Folashade Tinubu Ojo Market, Ilupeju, Lagos.

He said the teenagers had conspired and trespassed into the market and stole the two Honda grinding machines where they were kept, property of Mr Bolaji Mukaila.

They were granted bail in the sum of N50,000, with two sureties in like sum. The case was adjourned the case until October 31 for mention.
