BREAKING: APC Shuns Presidential Debate On Corruption And Development

While introducing the candidates, Eugenia Abu, who anchored the event, said the APC was invited but didn’t turn up.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) is conspicuously absent at the ongoing presidential debate organised by the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD).

Five candidates are currently taking questions on the strategies of the political parties to tackle corruption and ensure development for the country.

The event is taking place at Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, with the APC box stark empty.

While introducing the candidates, Eugenia Abu, who anchored the event, said the APC was invited but didn’t turn up.

Present at the debate are Omoyele Sowore, presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC); Kassim Afegbua, spokesman of the Atiku Campaign Organisation representing Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); Tope Fasua, presidential candidate of the Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP); Olawale Martins, Publicity Secretary of the Young Peoples Party (YPP) representing Kingsley Moghalu, and Paul Isamade, National Secretary of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) represented Oby Ezekwesili.
