Orji Uzor Kalu's Money Laundering Trial Resumes Today

The trial of a former Abia state governor, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, will resume today (Monday) at a federal high court sitting in Lagos.

The judge handling the case is Justice Mohammed Idris.

The former governor is standing trial alongside his former Commissioner for Finance, Ude Udeogo, and a company, Slok Nigeria Limited, on an amended 39-count charge of money laundering to the tune of N7.6 billion.
