Miners’ Chair Abducted By Unknown Gunmen In Kogi

The miners association’s chair was resting in his home when his abductors arrived and whisked him away.

Chairman of Kogi State Miners Association, Yunusa Oruma, has been kidnapped from his home at Ankpa Local Government Area of the state by unknown gunmen.

This was disclosed by the victim’s brother, Prince Oruma, on Wednesday.

The miners association’s chair was resting in his home when his abductors arrived and whisked him away.

According to the relative, the abductors are yet to reach the family for ransom for his release.

Spokesperson for the police in Kogi, William Aya, also confirmed the incident, adding that efforts are ongoing to secure the victim’s release from the kidnappers.
