Hoodlums on Monday killed a policeman and abducted three Chinese nationals in the Itagunmodi area of Osun State.
The expatriates were said to be working at a mining site located in the town when they were attacked.
The police orderly attached to them was reportedly killed during the attack, a report by PUNCH said.
It was further learnt that one of the expatriates, who attempted to escape, was shot.
He is said to be receiving treatment at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile Ife.
Osun State Police Commissioner, Abiodun Ige, confirmed the incident.
