Vice-Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi State, Kola Ojo, has died.
Ojo, a legal practitioner, was said to be playing tennis at the Sports Centre, Ogudu GRA in Lagos when the incident occurred.
A statement by the Publicity Secretary of PDP in Kogi, Mr Bode Ogunmola, said Ojo was immediately rushed to a hospital but was pronounced dead by doctors on duty, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.
Ogunmola described Ojo as a “reliable pillar of the party.”
