Cameroon has confirmed the first case of Coronavirus in the country.

This was confirmed by the Cameroon Health Ministry. 

The case involves a 58-year-old French citizen, who arrived the capital, Yaounde, on February 24.

He is currently isolated and being quarantined.

"All measures have been taken by the government to contain potential risks of the virus spreading," the health ministry said in a statement.
