Pa Napoleon Alale, 80, who was kidnapped by gunmen on May 8, 2020 at Agbere community under Sagbama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State has been freed by the police.

Asinim Butswat, spokesperson for the police in state said the old man was rescued on Tuesday around 1:00am.

He added, "Combined efforts by security agencies led to the arrest of one Commander Mummy Reuben, who was the mastermind of the kidnap. The suspect has confessed to how he conspired with others to carry out the kidnap.
”Investigation is underway to arrest other fleeing suspects.”
