India Police Arrest Nigerian Woman With 1.2Kg Of Heroin

They were caught by the Khanna police at a police checkpoint in front of a FCI godown on the GT Road in Doraha.

A Nigerian woman, identified as Princess Chinoye, has been arrested by operatives of the India Police, alongside her other accomplice while conveying 1.2 kilograms of heroin Amritsar in India.

Tribune India reports that the consignment which was coming from Delhi was hijacked by the police from a Swift Dzire taxi with a registration number, DL-01ZD-1068.

Chinoye, a resident of Adieu Crescent in Ajao Lagos but currently residing at Uttam Nagar, New Delhi, was arrested with her other accomplice such as; a taxi driver Palwinder Singh, resident of Ganesh Nagar Complex, Pandav Nagar Police station, New Delhi.

Khanna SSP Gursharandeep Singh Grewal stated that Chinoye confessed that the consignment which she picked from Delhi was to be delivered to someone in Amritsar.

He added that the accused revealed that a consignment had earlier been deliver to Tarn Taran district.

The crime which was contrary to the Sections 21, 25, 61, and 85 of the NDPS Act, has however been registered at Doraha police station.
