However, Okpala told SaharaReporters on Sunday night that Uwazuruike had allowed her to have access to her belongings and retrieve them.

The leader of the Movement of the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Ralph Uwazuruike on Friday returned the seized belongings of his female tenant, Loveth Okpala.

SaharaReporters had published early this month, how the separatist leader ejected Ms Okpala from his house and also seized her property after declining to meet him at an unusual place for an undisclosed purpose.

She narrated how not switching off an air-conditioner on a particular weekend in her apartment at Uwazuruike Close, Works Layout, Bala Suya, Owerri, Imo State caused his landlord to accuse her of not paying her rent, thereby ejecting her with the help of his caretaker, Mr Okey.

However, Okpala told SaharaReporters on Sunday night that Uwazuruike had allowed her to have access to her belongings and retrieve them.

She had since left his house and moved into another rented apartment.

She said her landlord said he was blackmailed in the SaharaReporters' story and that he would release her belongings to prevent having another negative story published about him.[story_link align="left"]98423[/story_link]

“On Friday, my aunt collected my phone and chatted with him. So, she dropped a message asking how he would have peace if he didn’t release my school credentials. She asked him if he would be happy that I forfeited my four-year journey in school because he seized my credentials and belongings.

“He then replied to my aunt that he saw the SaharaReporters’ story and that I blackmailed him; my aunt and I ignored it. He said so that I would not blackmail him again, that he was the one that caused me not to finish my studies. He said I should go and pack my belongings.

“So, he called me himself later and spoke to me that I should go to the house and move my things out. I have moved all my property from his house. I’m in another rented apartment. It happened on Friday.”
