Hoodlums Raze Two Churches In Zamfara

SaharaReporters learnt that the hoodlums attacked the worship centres in the state capital, Gusau, on Monday.

A Redeemed Christian Church of God parish and Christ Intercessory and Miracle Church in Zamfara State have both been razed by hoodlums.

"The incident happened on Monday morning but no life was lost, except that vital documents and other valuables were destroyed in the fire," a resident of the area disclosed.

 

This attack comes two months after suspected bandits issued quit notice to Christians in Zamfara asking them to shut down churches or face ferocious attacks.

 

The police in Zamfara State is yet to comment on the issue.
