An Uber driver in Lagos has committed suicide.

The man, who lives on 51 Oduntan Street, Ketu, in the Ikosi-Isheri Local Government Area of the state, was said to have taken his life on Thursday afternoon after ensuring that his wife had left home for an appointment.

A neighbour of the victim, Victoria, who spoke with SaharaReporters, said that no suicide note was dropped by the man, adding that it was his wife who discovered his body dangling from the ceiling fan and raised the alarm upon her return home.
