Breaking News: Maximus Uba Is Dead-Ikenna Samuelson

It is with deep anger that I write to announce the unfortunate death
of Social Critic and journalist, Mr. Maximus Uba. He died this morning
(December 8th 2010) in a “motor accident” in Abuja along
Kubwa/Gwarimpa axis.

According to a source, Mr. Maximus Uba was driving his wife to the Nigerian Law School where she works. Then suddenly the “accident” happened. Details will be provided. But in the meantime let me state that not too long ago in a counter rejoinder entitled, “Counter Rejoinder: Government Dehumanization Of A Catholic Priest;” (see attached) published on the 2nd of September 2010, I cautioned Maximus Uba against his sudden romance with Ikedi Ohakim. I stated inter-alia “On Mr. Maximus Uba’s romance with Ikedi Ohakim lately, I have my reservations. But the truth is that Maximus Uba suddenly jumped into “political bed” with Ikedi Ohakim “unprotected”.

"I just hope and pray he doesn’t  get infected with “Ohakim Virus”. He
is still my friend, elder brother and uncle” – unquote.

Just 97 days later, my prophecy came to pass. Law 15 of the 48 Laws of power states, “Crush your enemy totally”. It is very risky for anybody to reconcile
with Ikedi Ohakim. Auto accidents can be arranged to look real. The
question now is, who killed Maximus Uba? To trace out the truth, let
me attach my earlier published article entitled “OHAKIM VERSUS
MAXIMUS UBA” published in February 2010.

This is to enable readers to know how the mind of Ikedi Ohakim works. For a man who ordered that Maximus Uba should be abducted in Abuja and brought to Owerri, he can organize road accident just to kill him. After all Ohakim personally assaulted this writer at gun point in the office of the governor under
the watchful eyes of the then state Commissioner of Police and the
then state director of SSS.
 

Ikedi Ohakim is a man who can go to any length to kill, abduct, destroy, kidnap, frustrate people etc.

Afterall he personally striped this writer stark naked in the Office
of the Governor of Imo State on the 21st of January 2010. The death of
Citizen Maximus Uba should not be swept under the carpet.
The Force Headquarters should probe the death of Maximus Uba.

 1. COUNTER REJOINDER: IMO STATE  GOVERNMENT
DEHUMANIZATION OF A CATHOLIC PRIEST.
 
My attention has been drawn to a rejoinder advertorial on the “NIGERIAN HORN” newspapers edition of September 1-2, 2010 page 10, “DAILY SUN” newspapers edition of September 2, 2010 page 15, “NEWSPOINT” newspapers edition of September 2-5, 2010 page 9 and “ANNOUNCER” newspapers edition of September 1-2, 2010 page 13. It was captioned “RE: GOVERNMENT DEHUMANIZATION OF CATHOLIC PRIEST and Sponsored by a so called Imo State based “OWERRI POWER CLUB” but signed by Chief Paul .C. Nnawuchi (The owe of Owerri) as President General and Prince Azu Uwandu as Secretary General.
 
I wouldn’t have bothered to join issues with this so called “OWERRI POWER CLUB” bearing in mind that the signatures of the two individuals mentioned above were truly superimposed on the said advertorial. Again the address of the club given as “PLOT 475 Trans Egbu Owerri – Imo State” does not exist. Again after a careful investigation, I also discovered that the advertorial content was written by Mr. Ethelbert Okere, Special Assistant to Governor Ikedi Ohakim on Documentation, but he chose to use the names of Chief Paul .C. Nnawuchi and Prince Azu Uwandu as signatories hiding under the “OWERRI POWER CLUB, whatever that means.
 
Now to the main issue of this write-up.
It should be noted that the assault on Rev. Fr. Eustace Okorie has confirmed also that Mr. Ikedi Ohakim and his fraud infested government in Imo State have no respect for anybody or institution in the state. The scandal that followed this assault on Rev. Fr. Okorie can only be roughly equated to the assault on this writer by Ikedi Ohakim himself in his Office at gun point. As a face saving strategy, Ohakim ran away from Imo State, exactly what he did when he assaulted this writer.
 
On the paragraph 8 (eight) of the so called advertorial, Mr. Ethelbert Okere wrote as follows, inter-alia “it is even sheer wickedness to insinuate that Governor Ikedi Ohakim has been brutalizing Imo indigenes since 2007 that he took office. In the case of the carefully fabricated Mr. Ikenna Samuelson’s story which is now a reference case, no Chief Executive can stomach the youth’s tissue of lies which he bandies on internet and pages of newspapers with reckless tact and also Mr. Maximus Uba’s who started the opposition though with reason has now abandoned the camp of the opposition and has since embraced reason after the supreme court judgment”. Unquote. The above quote is actually why I am doing this write-up. Mr. Ethelbert Okere is always fond of hiding under other people’s names and amorphous group to launch his misguided bare-faced lies with the intention of deceiving the reading public. It should be noted that it was this poor intellectual handling of crisis in the state that made Ikedi Ohakim to sack Dr. Amanze Obi as information commissioner. The more Amanze Obi told lies, the more it became evident that I was truly assaulted by the shameless debilitating monster (Ikedi Ohakim). Few months ago the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Henry Ekpe also tried this segmented lies by defending Ohakim. But I dealt with him ruthlessly in my rejoinder. Since then Henry Ekpe has been licking his wounds. The current information commissioner Dr. Kelechi Okpaleke did try some weeks ago to bend this truth of Ohakim’s assault on me. But Nigerians were not deceived, hence my junior at Government Secondary School Owerri (Mr. Joachin Ezeji) responded in his well published article by putting Dr. Kelechi Okpaleke to where he rightly belongs. I have also on my part done a comprehensive investigations and write-up on Dr. Kelechi Okpaleke but decided not to publish it when his close friend appealed to me not to make it public. It is equally on record that Ikedi Ohakim hired over 15 writers to “help” him combat me and deny that he assaulted this writer in his office. But when these people found out the undiluted truth, they simply stepped aside from Ikedi Ohakim’s propaganda media deception.
 
Therefore I am not in any way shocked by Ikedi Ohakim’s constant and shameless denial on his assault on me. His recent attempt through Ethelbert Okere under the cover of “OWERRI POWER CLUB” and signed by Chief Paul .C. Nnawuchi and Prince Azu Uwandu will as usual be defeated by my truth which has remained constant. Once again I hereby attach my open letter to Mr. President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan on my assault by Ikedi Ohakim. (See attached). I am also calling on all the Security agencies to make public the confessional statements of Police Commissioner Aloysius Okorie and the Lady state director of SSS. These two people and others mentioned in my account witnessed the assault on me by this rogue governor. All the people I mentioned in my account have confessed that Ikedi Ohakim did it. The truth of the whole episode is that Ikedi Ohakim has tried everything under the sun to bully and blackmail me into submission and possibly force me to recant my account but I have stoutly stood my ground. Truth is constant while other things are mere ordinary variables. Let me also make it clear that I will go to any length humanly and inhumanly possible to deal with Ikedi Ohakim. As 2011 is at the corner, Ohakim’s shadows and demonic atrocities are pursuing him. He knows that he can no longer contest elections again, hence he is using force. For sure there will be resistance in Imo State. This is why the Federal Government must order the security agencies to make their report public. The people of Imo State can no longer afford to continue to have an irresponsible criminal like Ikedi Ohakim as governor.
 
I cannot conclude this rejoinder without letting the world to know that after reading that advertorial, I placed a phone call on Chief Paul .C. Nnawuchi and questioned him why he allowed his signature to be superimposed on the said advertorial. He responded by saying, “ABOKI, you know Ohakim has POWER. If you refuse to make peace with him, he will give one useless man two million naira to assassinate you. Maximus Uba has made peace with him. Ohakim has equally apologized to Rev. Fr. Eustace Okorie. We know he flogged you in his office at government house but we are just playing along”. Unquote.
 
I called Chief Paul Nnawuchi on phone by 8:22pm on 1st September 2010 and we spoke for roughly 5 minutes. This can be confirmed from MTN computer log book. Chief Paul Nnawuchi’s number is 08033426737 while my number is 07032934037.
 
On Mr. Maximus Uba’s romance with Ikedi Ohakim lately, I have my reservations. But the truth is that Maximus Uba suddenly jumped into “political bed” with Ikedi Ohakim “unprotected”. I just hope and pray he doesn’t get infected with “Ohakim virus”. He is still my friend, elder brother and uncle.
 
Finally, the problems of Imo State is largely anchored on Poverty, unemployment and Conflicts. I have paid my dues by using God’s given initiatives and talents to propound and proffer solutions to these variable problems  confronting the state. And I will continue to proffer solutions by remaining in the opposition whether Ikedi Ohakim likes it or not, until a politically anointed man of God becomes the governor of Imo State come 2011. Afterall, opposition is the beauty of democracy. (See attached)

 2. OHAKIM VERSUS MAXIMUS UBA- AS TYRANNY TAKES OFF IN IMO STATE: PART THREE

As I write this article prolific writer and publisher of WEEKEND MAIL
Newspapers Mr. Maximus Uba is cooling off in prisons custody in Owerri
– the Imo State Capital.

It should be recalled that Mr. Maximus Uba was abducted by Police men
drafted from Owerri on Saturday 20/2/2010 in Abuja at Transcorp Hilton
Hotel by 6:15pm and was taken straight to Maitama Police Station. The
next morning being Sunday 21/2/2010 he was forcefully air transported
to Owerri where he was detained by the Police. On Monday 22/2/2010,
the Ohakim leadership in agreement with the Imo State Police command
dragged Mr. Maximus Uba before the Magistrate court one presided over
by Mrs. Victoria Isiguzo on a three count charge of “defamation”
against Governor Ikedi Ohakim. He pleaded not guilty and his Lawyer
Barrister L. M. Alozie pleaded for a bail but the presiding Magistrate
(Mrs. Isiguzo) refused based on instruction directed from Governor
Ikedi Ohakim according to sources. Mr. Maximus Uba was thereafter
remanded in prisons custody till Thursday 25/2/2010.
     

A little drama played out when Maximus Uba was being taken to prisons
from the court. What happened? A team of 36 heavily armed police men
escorted Maximus Uba to the prisons. As the police men were escorting
him, they were murmuring among themselves wondering why such number of
them would escort one man who has been fighting corruption and
criminalities of the Ohakim leadership to the prisons. Also a large
crowd of Imo citizens following the policemen from behind were all
talking loudly that Ohakim has beaten more than he could chew. They
wondered why Ikedi Ohakim could so belittle himself by unnecessarily
heating up Imo polity by clamping down on critics of his fraud
infested government when he has a chance of turning a new leaf and
listening to the voice of reasoning as represented by the opposition
in the State.
     

The crowd of people including Lawyers, traders, civil servants,
students etc described Maximus Uba as a good man who is out to expose
the excesses and criminalities of the Ohakim government. When the
crowd  became so much, the policemen escorting Maximus Uba diverted to
the Police Commissioners Office block where they stayed for about 12
minutes before finally taking him to the prisons.
     

The question now is what is Maximus Uba’s offence? When Ikedi Ohakim
presented the 2009 budget to the Imo State House of Assembly in
December 2008, the duo of Mr. Maximus Uba and this writer (Ikenna
Samuelson Iwuoha) separately on their own analyzed the workability or
otherwise of the so called N135billion budget for Imo State. This
happened in January 2009.

While Mr. Maximus Uba did an article entitled “N135 billion Budget for
Imo State: Dead on presentation”, my humble self (Ikenna Samuelson
Iwuoha) wrote an article entitled “N135 billion Budget for Imo State:
How Realizable? So many Newspapers and Magazines carried it. These two
worthy sons of Imo State patriotically lectured Imo People and
Nigerians the unworkability of the so called scam budget. We have
since been proved right because Ikedi Ohakim failed woefully in 2009.

Therefore having been humiliated by the exposure, the Ohakim
government instigated the then Police Commissioner (Mr Ilozuoke) to go
after Maximus Uba and Ikenna Samuleson Iwuoha. But because Ikenna
Samuelson was already in court with the Ohakim government, the police
went for Maximus Uba. They could not locate him because he was not
resident in Owerri. They were about to declare him wanted but this
writer personally instructed Maximus Uba to return from Abuja to
answer the police. This he did and I personally followed him to see
the then commissioner of Police (Ilozuoke) who later assigned a Senior
Police Officer at the C.I.B. office to look into the matter. Maximus
Uba wrote his statement and the Police are still with that statement.
Thereafter Maximus Uba was asked to go but to report in three days
time. We left the police command but when Ohakim got the news that
Maximus Uba had reported to the police and was asked by the same
police to go home and come back in three days time,  he tongue lashed
the Commissioner of Police over the phone for allowing Maximus Uba to
go. He thereafter ordered the Commissioner of Police to call back
Maximus on phone for a “brief” discussion. Maximus and very my very
self were already outside the police command when his phone rang and
the police asked him to come back for a “brief” discussion. Of course
we understood the language because we are “Nigerians”.

It should be noted that I Ikenna Samuelson Iwuoha did a Special
article on that matter entitled “As Tyranny Takes Off  in Imo” (see
attached article). This step I took forced Ikedi Ohakim and the Police
to recoil in their timidity.

It is therefore very despicable for the current Commissioner of Police
in Imo State (Mr. Alloysius Okorie) to dubiously claim that Mr.
Maximus Uba was declared wanted by the Police in January 2009. As an
eye witness I am challenging the Police Commissioner to show the world
the Newspapers that carried the “WANTED” story. I challenge him also
to produce Mr Uba’s Statement. I equally challenge him to tell the
world which radio and television stations announced that Maximus was a
wanted man. I will at this point like to warn the police commissioner
to be very careful so that he does not burn his fingers and toes. As
for Ikedi Ohakim who is already drowning, I have no pity for him. The
position of a Governor can never be equated to human life.

Not long ago the same Ikedi Ohakim unrespectfully ordered the arrest,
humiliation and detention of Chief Dr. Alex Obi (MFR) without any
cogent and verifiable reason. He was charged to magistrate court one
presided over by that same “Judicial hatchet” woman – Mrs. Victoria
Isiguzo. It appears that Magistrate court one has been reserved for
Patriotic citizens of Imo State who are against Ikedi Ohakim’s
criminalities in Imo State. At this point may I warn Mrs Victoria
Isiguzo to be very careful because it is very obvious that she is
being influenced by the Ohakim’s evilcratic government? The National
Judicial Council (NJC) will soon look in her direction.

Let me also point out that Chief Stanford Onyirimba, a prominent
politician in Imo State is under threat of being assassinated. Already
his old mother has been kidnapped allegedly by people suspected to be
Ohakim’s kidnap squad. He has been told to leave the country with his
children. Meanwhile information reaching this writer indicates that
Chief Stanford Onyirimba’s mother is dead in the hands of the kidnap
squad. Not long Ohakim himself and with his own mouth threatened to
kidnap lecturers of Imo State University if they do not call off their
strikes.

Few weeks ago another great son of Imo State, Barrister Ziggy Azike
complained bitterly and in tears of how he received information that
this same IKedi Ohakim had concluded plans to label him the head of a
kidnap gang. He explained that Ohakim negotiated with three condemned
criminals awaiting execution to name him as their Godfather in
exchange for their freedom.

Just few days ago security protocol officers attached to Ikedi Ohakim
physically manhandled 74yrs old Chief Bob Kay Njemanze at the Cenotaph
Located at Concorde Hotel avenue in owerri. Chief Bob Njemanze
attended a function organized by Chief Osita Nwaneri at that Cenotaph.
When he was being manhandled in the presence of the State Governor,
Ikedi Ohakim kept a straight face. It should be recalled that Chief
Bob Njemanze took Ohakim to court over the N40billion Bond issue.
I cannot conclude this piece without sounding it clear that this
debilitating monster called Ikedi ohakim has finally fallen out of
contention with the people of Imo state. His disgraceful imminent
fatal end is already “Five seconds” to go.

It is only a Governor like Ikedi Ohakim who reasons from the anus that
fights and oppresses the masses.

When a leader defecates openly in broad daylight, what do you do? Of
course you reject him. I need not say more.
