Cushioning The Effect OF Their Silence
Reuben Abati: Your Excellency, Daddy G.O and Baba Witch called while you were sleeping.
GEJ: Oh my Daddies in the Lord? Why didn't you wake me? Don't you know I need some anointing to face Nigerians starting tomorrow?
Reuben: Your Excellency, this is no anointing matter o. Ask Oronto sir. They were seriously complaining about reduction in tithe and offering collection today.
GEJ: Reuben, this is not an academic conference. Don't complicate matters; what do you mean by tithe collection?
Reuben: I will explain, Your Excellency. They complained that their income has plummeted since Pius Adesanmi, that Sowore boy, and the other noisemakers have asked the people not to pay tithes if their pastors remain silent about the subsidy issue.
GEJ: Reuben, wetin be plume....? These are men of God and not plumbers you are talking about.
Reuben: Sorry, Your Excellency. I mean that their tithes and offering have reduced drastically.
GEJ: Oh! All you Oyinbo people sef. We zoologists don't speak big grammar. We keep it simple. But that’s not a problem; tell Daddy G.O and the other men of God that there is no cause for alarm. Meanwhile, you and Oronto should discuss with them and find out how much they are losing so we can cushion the effect of their silence.
Reuben: Consider it done, Your Excellency.

Making scape goats of easy target?
I plead that we face issue and leave distrations. This is another of useless, petty and frivolous write up. Show me a clear statement credited to any one on both sides of religion. Where is the one credited to former presidents, head of state, elders of the land, royal fathers, leaders of thought etc. It is easy to target your usual punching bags. Playing to the gallery I think. Let us learn to debate issue and stop making scape goats. That it gives SR joy to target them does not make it right. Sensationalism it is called and that belongs to soft sell mag and not ' serious minded' people like SR crew.
The two greatest idiots in the world Jonathan and Deri
Such reckless statement coming from idiot like jona and Deri, accusation without facts, that is what we keep hearing everyday, name names or forever keep shut. honestly your paymaster is not worthy of a school prefect.
the oil belongs to niger delta not boko haram
Facts are emerging over how over three Igbo traders resident in Mubi, Adamawa state were killed in cold blood inside their shops unprovoked and defenseless by suspected Boko Haram members on January 6 this year.Witness told the Nigerian Pilot yesterday that following the chilling killing of the three Igbo traders including the younger brother of a catholic priest inside their shops in Mubi the previous night and discussion was in progress by their relatives as to how to convey their corpses home for burial, unidentified gunmen numbering over 30, descended on the mourners, shouting ‘Allah Aku Bah’ ‘Allah is greatest”, shooting at them sporadically.Reports stated that ten victims of the unprovoked attack all hailed from Adazi Ani in Anambra state. Others who escaped the attack but not without serious injuries
@Bashiru: You are naive
@Deri a.k.a Bashiru
Ain't you naive? Do u think there would be anything called subsidy if refineries were working locally ?
Another exercise for your slow-motion brain; if you subsidize your son's school transport every month by N240.00 and sudddenly it went to N14,000.00, would you ask your son to forgo the subsidy and pay the fuel station that N14,000.00 from the meagre you give him as school allowance or you will want to find out why the sudden increase? Wont you want to find out if the distance your son now travels is longer or does your son drink the fuel ? That is the issue. If subsidy was N240b the previous year and suddenly went to N1.4trillion, a sensible govt and citizenry ought to ask what made it jump to that. Not sweep it under the carpet and ask the masses to pay. By the way; how do u intend to survive on N5k/month salary ?
Repair Your Own Refinery
Repair Your Own Refinery and refine locally first.
are u not one of them?
President Goodluck Jonathan on Sunday alleged the dreaded Islamic sect, Boko Haram, had infiltrated his government.
He claimed some of members of the group, which had claimed responsibility for the killings in parts of the North, were in the executive, legislative and judiciary arms of government as well as the police and armed forces.
Gloomluck Nigeria
Fellow Nigerians, u are welcome 2 dis era of gloomluck. Someone says he is removing fuel subsidy in order 2 curtail corruption n goes ahead 2 procure vehicles 2 help cushion d effect. How many will he buy dat will be sufficient for each local govt in dis country? Another question is how much did he purchase these vehicles? Will such an amount not b enof 2 pay fuel subsidy if there's anything like dat? It also seems gud 2 me e say dat we do not av a masses oriented legislative arm. How many of Gloomluck's policies passed thru their channel b4 they were implemented? If things r being done by d executive without proper ratification by NASS den it is an impeachable offense! Send Gloommluck out of Aso Rock. But wait, NASS is also involved, they r all part of d cartel. Oh what a pity Nigerians, if u don't stand up 4 ur right dis time, den u shall be gloomy for life.
buhari and tinubus welfare state from the oil in the niger delta
Elites steal 1.3-Trillion Naira annually from 9ja under a well scripted scam called "subsidy". From this scheme, the FG forks out $8-Billion US Dollars annually from our federal reserve to feed this scheme, and to enrich these Nigerian scammers who probably own all these refineries in the African sub-region where 275,000 barrels of crude oil from the Niger Delta are shipped daily for refining and re-imported into Nigeria. Removing this subsidy program will re-incentivise Nigerians into taking the same $8-Billion US Dollars to refurbish our local refineries, and possibly construct new ones. A $500-Million US Dollar outlay could lead to the construction of a 50,000 barrels per day production refinery. Currently, there aren't many places in the world where there are refineries that produces over 100,000 barrels per day, the United States included. However, Nigeria, a member of the OPEC nation could afford to construct refineries that can meet the challenges of our local markets.
those who want oil subsidy are stooges of the west
