All those ranting on this write-up by Njokede are those who do not want to embrace the truth,like Deri. Let's face the substance of this write-up, which tend to expose the incompetence and huge corruption bedeviling this administration. BH are killing my Ibo bros and sisters as well as other southerners. Muslims who are found wanting by BH are also been killed. I don't believe BH is targeting Ibos alone, just bcos they are migrant prone compared to other Nigerian tribes make them victims the more. Corruption and incompetence is the problem and that is why BH infiltrated Jonathan's govt. Deri, when did u start supporting the Ibos. Wonders. I would also like u to follow to conclusion the outcome of those purported BH members arrested on their way to Enugu. It is all face-saving tactics of Nigerian Police. With the sophistication they have shown so far, BH can't operate that way. BH want their north and not east pls.

 Thank you Sunday, you are among the few that will tell the truth. Visioless leaders must be blamed for our poor condition as a nation. And those that benefit in the incompetence of our rulers will say all kind of things that will fetch them money or position to loot.

Indeed, Sunday is right in his article. The only thing he missed out in the write-up is that the Sharia introduced in some Northern States actually emboldened if not leveraged the characters that do not understand the difference between religion and politics. People like Joe Igbokwe should divert their energies into thinking of how to fight this inferno instead of war cries because even Igbos and Ibibios have been found to be members of Boko Haram

If Joe Igbokwe said those things ascribed to him in this piece, then I commend him and declare that he is now back on my good books. For he was speaking the truth!

However, I don't know what to make out of this piece, which is neither here nor there. It did not flow, and I struggled to flow with it. My summation of this piece (unsurprisingly) is that it is sympathetic to the cause and justified the carnage by these evil minded people and killing machines. Nothing can justify the genocide and culling of human beings who were killed and burnt like cockroaches. Not even a declaration of war can justify it! Even wars have rules.

Their anger is misplaced. They should attack their LEADERS and the NORTHERN GOVERNORS that have DESPOILED their wealth and CORNERED their RESOURCES and rendered them poor and hopeless! Their LEADERS should explain to them what happened to ALL THE GOVERNMENT VOTES THEY HAVE BEEN ALLOCATED ALL THESE YEARS!

In this article Sunday Njokede wrote and I quote: "There is nothing political about Boko Haram as Mr Joe Igbokwe and his ethnic backstreet boys are singing." This statement seriously reveals that Sunday Njokede is a grossly incompetent person and does not know his subject at all, at all. I doubt if he has the intellectual capacity to even understand the subject he is writing about even with much help. Here is one thing everyone knows about Islam - in Islam politics and religion are intimately married together. This knowledge is so basic and I wonder why Njokede will choose to display his ignorance and incompetence on a subject like this. It is even worse when such an incompetente Njokede goes ahead to write as in this article that President Jonathan is as he wrongly supposed incompetent. I have no doubt that grossly incompetent persons like Sunday Njokede do not have what it takes to appreciate the high level of competence that President Jonathan brings to his job as President.

I think Alan Strait from Canada and Chekwube from Nigeria has a very good understanding of the Boko Haram issue. And in this case Joe Igbokwe was correct in his thesis on Boko Haram. Boko Haram is a PDP versus PDP political issue and not a religious issue. These illiterate Boko Haram members are not learned enough to make a Banger Knockout how much more IED's or Bombs. So where are they getting finance, intelligence and logistics from? They are landlocked; so from what Port are they receiving shipments? Dont just read in betwen the ruled lines; also read above and below the lines. Boko Haram has strong support from Politicians, Military, Police and Citizenry. Give Shekau a whif of money like and BH will be silent like MEND, NDVF etc. Also, let their Backers take prime hostages like WILBROS, NAFCON and NITEL( know these stories) and there will be peace.

These writer is one of the Ibo haters, they build their activism around attacking anything they perceive Ibo.He is produced statistics to counter the fact that ninety percent of those who have been killed are Ibos,who from intelligence are deliberately been provoked to retaliate and probably start another war. Nigerians need the SNC to either foist a NEW NIGERIA or for the peoples to go their separate ways PEACEFULLY. I know that the day Boko Haram unleashes their mayhem in Igbo land, the reprisals by Ndi Igbo throughout Nigeria would be difficult for Jonathan to contain even if he deploys the entire Nigerian military to the streets. Let me assert that BH does not have sole access to IED. Go ask, in Biafra we had our IED (OGBUNIGWE) that wrought massive havoc on the marauding Nigerian soldiers.

And what would one make of the appointment of MD Abubakar, a Muslim fanatic, as the Inspector General of Police? Jonathan would have made Abu Qaqa the IG then! Great pity, great pity indeed!!

For once I want to thank DERI (RENO OMOKRI) for his posts here. Sunday Njokede has some pent-up axe to grind; a perpetual grudge with Ndi Igbo and the South East Governors because of his rabid support for Buhari. He has gradually degenerated to a rabble-rouser and a derelict of sorts on SR particularly with his recent write-up on Ojukwu not being a hero. I have been waiting anxiously for SR to post his second serial of the useless article.

The fact is that the country called NIGERIA has not worked for the citizens and WILL NEVER WORK as it is presently governed and the style of governance since 1970. It would be the greatest tragedy and travesty of justice for the 149 million Nigerians, minus my humble self, if Jonathan is allowed to continue with this clueless style of governance and wobble on till 2015.

Mr Njokode is confused. Nigeria MUST NOT remain one, thats the first thing you have to get into your skull. No one is an island but we dont need each-other if we dont want even if we have to, you dont force a marriage.

Nigeria is ripe for a break-up but we have to sit down and iron out how to co-operate with each-other or go our separate ways.

You have to brace up for it, its either we co-operate, separate peacefully or with war. Our union its not just working and it cant just go on this way forever. You dont do the same thing a 100 times and expect a different result.

I don't know when you have changed from the reasons ,what most of us (inclusing you ) have been talking since 2008 when The Punch was at its height online,why good governance have been eluding us as a nation. Sane Nigerians have agreed with most us that the Present Day Ethic Nationalities in Nigeria have never been the opportunity to sit down and decide whether to remain as NIgerians since 1914.
Therefore, by thinking that all is WELL with NIgeria whether Boko Haram strikes or not only proves that we are deceiving ourselves in Nigeria.

So all these blah, blah is that Nigeria must remain one. OUR MAIN PROBLEM IS NOT CORRUPTION. Our main problem is our funny structure and system of government which makes some people feel cheated. What system of government do we have in Nigeria? Why did we twist the federal system of government? For whose benefit? Most Southerners especially the South-South people are calling for restructuring of the country and Northerners believe that the structure is just fine. This means that there is something wrong.Prof Soyinka and Co are calling for SNC. This means that the structure is faulty. Boko Haram did not start the struggle for Sharia in the North, the politicians did. Please let’s have a structure that promotes respect among us. A structure that allows us to respect each other’s religion. A structure that makes the South South man feel he is being fairly treated.

IF YOU CONSIDER THE RIOTS AFTER THE APRIL 2011 ELECTION AS PERPETRATED BY BUHARI SUPPORTERS THEN YOU NEED TO READ THE LEMU REPORT ON THE VIOLENCE. IN IT, IF YOU DONT HAVE TIME TO READ, BUHARI WAS NOT ONLY A VICTIM OF THE VIOLENCE, WHICH JONATHAN WAS NOT, BUT WAS ONE OF THOSE RECOMMENDED FOR COMPENSATION.

I tend to agree with Joe Igbokwe intoto. BH kills both muslims and Christians. Boko Haram is all a political fraud by some members of PDP and NOT Buhari or opposition parties. 1.The boko-haram are demanding a strict application of islamic sharia in Nigeria.(therefore a christian president is out of the question,unless Jonathan converts to Islam).
