I just pointed out your folly when you claimed Ribadu was a PDP man hijacked by ACN and I tried to stimulate your dull brain by reminding you Ribadu was a serving police officer when he was EFFC chairman so could not have belonged to PDP and as usual your response was way off mark. Ribadu has shown himself again to be an opportunist. He wants to remain in the limelight not caring who puts him there.
He described Tinubu as "a thief of international proportion" and accepted political sponsorship from Tinubu. He said "I will not bother myself with the integrity of any of my sponsors". That tells you a lot about the character of Ribadu. Accepting this PTF job, in defiance of ACN is politically unwise. He will soon start political prostitution like Atiku. ACN will reject him, PDP will not accept him.
Ribadu does not realize that the criminals in PDP hate him with passion for exposing and ridiculing them while in EFCC. They are waiting for an opportunity to rubbish his anti-corruption image, locally and internationally. The wisest thing is to reject this appointment and stay in the opposition. He should remember how Abacha used PTF to rubbish Buhari and Babangida used People's Bank to shut the mouth of Tai Solarin.

So the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Petroleum do not have credible people to manage the oil subsidy money and you need to appoint another set of commitee? Why not just appoint Ribadu Minister of Petroleum instead of duplicating responsibilities. If Dumbo knows those in Ministry of Petroleum are rogues .. why leave them there ?

For those that cares to know, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has never been a party member of ACN, He has been working with PDP-led Govt since the days of OBJ, even when he to exile, it was this same PDP-led Govt that brought him to this country to work as SSA on Anti-corruption to PDP-led Govt (Under President Goodluck Jonathan before the election in 2011) same with Alh. Fola Adeola (ACN VP Candidate), he also was never part of ACN at any level/point in time, he has always be with PDP-led Govt, He was a member of National Economy Submit, also a member of National Economy Management Team.

Please remember that Malam Nuhu Ribadu served the PDP government as a public officer and not as a politician. Nuhu is not just a politician but a leading opposition in Nigeria. If he takes up the appointment, he has not only jettison his party but betrayed many of his supporters, including me the writer of this response to your view. You and Nuhu MUST understand this now and take the honourable way.

First and foremost I have to Congratulate the FGN for taking such a bold decision to give Mallam Nuhu Ribadu the offer and I pray and hope that it is done with good intention.
Secondly, I beg Mallam Nuhu Ribadu to accept the offer with good faith and regard it as a national call at a time that the country needs people like him for its existence but he needs to be prayerful so that God would safe and help him to deliver.
Thirdly, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu should ensure that he gave the Hon. Minister, Senate/Reps members, the Vice President and the president conditions that they must allow him to operate without interferences.
May god guide and help us and our leaders in our daily activities/assignments to deliver so as to take our country Nigeria to the promise land...

Much as I hate PDP, if I were in Ribadu's shoes, I will jump at the opportunity to make even with the ACN. They dumped him when it mattered most, everybody know this. So why are they concern about his taking any appointment? Abeg, carry go, Ribadu; but be careful and always watch your back.

It amazes me to read this crap from Lai Mohammed. In Politics no permanent foes but permanent interest. They ( ACN ) forget to soon, how they were ready to dump Ribadu if the merger with CPC had gone through in the 2011 elections......now they remember that he is a party member. Knowing fully well the antics and the manner PDP operates; I would advise Ribadu NOT to take this appointment. It looks like a Greek gift warpped with Boko Haram's bombs! If Ribadu takes this appointment, he should be sure that his image would be sullied and tanished. They would create booby traps for him that would be very difficult for him to escape. It has always been the character of PDP to look for ways of crippling and weaking opposition parties. They did it to PDP through Umeh Ezeoke; that party has NOT fully recovered up till today.

PDP has seen ACN as a strong party to contend with, hence their offer of a job to Ribadu. If Ribadu take this appointment, he may be unwittingly ruin his political future. Pastor Adeboye said some years back that God would use a young man from Adamawa state to librate Nigeria. He may be the one. He should be careful not to damage his future chances.
