Is Comprehension no longer taught, as part of the curriculum for English Language, in Secondary Schools any more? If not, I beg the authorities to please restore it to our Schools, as the level of crassness and emptiness of some of our half-baked graduates, as typified by some comments on this forum, is rather unbecoming and disturbing. It spells disaster that some people cannot read and comprehend. Others misread or misinterpret what they have read. Spell it out to some, or repeat it over and over to them, they simply can't get it. All symptoms of a failed Educational system or Nigerian Educational system gone wrong. Plenty work for the authorities.
