The Niger Delta Region has once more been engulfed in a Kafkaesque nightmare, with odd cacophony of voices reminiscent of the glossolalia episode in the Apostolic age. This is expected because when utopian promises are made and expectations are high, those to share the spoils are usually divided; some may even become martyrs in their bid to outwit others. This has been the scenario in Lebanon between the Hezbollah and Hamaz on the one hand and the hard line Jewish extremists on another.

As he challenges an intimidating array of aspirants for the Anambra governorship ticket, the former Central Bank Governor, Mr Charles Chukwuma Soludo has surrounded himself with thieves, Looters and Locusts that have arrogated to themselves the task of determining Anambra future. That to me is profound mistake.

I greet Dora Akunyili for having the civility to join honest Nigerians who ply SaharaReporters.com. These are the same gentlemen and women she had all along branded as damagers of Nigeria a la Diaspora people. But I’m afraid her sweet platitude to soft-land herself falls short. Sermonising her way towards the same hall of fame like Caucasian Mother Theresa of India and saint Mary at the same time wouldn’t help up Dora Akuyili´s tattered image in any way.
