PHOTONEWS: Beko Ransome -Kuti Remembered In Lagos
Nigerians today remember renowned human rights activist, Dr. Beko Ransome Kuti. Following a laying of wreathe at his tomb, members of the Nigerian
Civil Society proceeded for an anniversary lecture in honor of the late human rights campaigner.
It is now seven years since the activist's demise, but Beko is widely remembered for his contributions to the the pro-democracy struggle against military rule.
Beko is the younger brother of aft-beat musician Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
