The people should reduce the way they engage in black market because is risky and bloody, the government should also seat to the price of fuel in other for the people to stop buying black market.

********DO YOUR RESEACH***********

The Nigerian Oil and Gas reserves have grown tremendously since the discovery of hydrocarbon in 1956 in Oloibiri. The growth was from a modest figure of 0.184 billion barrel of oil and 2.260 billion cubic feet of gas in 1958 to 25.93 billion barrels of oil, 3.80 billion barrels of condensate and 158 trillion cubic feet of gas, as at December 2000.

The reserves increase was achievable because of two main factors namely:
The introduction of various incentives by the Government for increasing oil reserves and gas utilization. In order to increase oil reserves, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was negotiated and agreed to guarantee a notional profit margin of US $2/bbl. This was revised to include the Reserves Addition Bonus clause, which qualify the operator for a tax credit for additions to reserves that exceeds its production for a year.

What about Us.

This is not about the FG any more. They have provided us with all the tools to make it work. We are the ones who continue to encourage black marketers by buying from them. You don't want to queue for fuel forcing them out of the market then we will remain suffering under the circumstance.

Fuel is available.

On Monday, 71 trucks of PMS were loaded from the Refinery in Kaduna designated for Abuja, but the report we have shows that only 18 trucks arrived Abuja. On Tuesday (yesterday), 45 trucks of PMS were loaded from Kaduna to Abuja, only 25 arrived. Press Release-NNPC/PPMC Cautions Marketers against Product Diversion - Part 2

On Tuesday (yesterday), 45 trucks of PMS were loaded from Kaduna to Abuja, only 25 arrived. This clearly shows that some marketers are diverting the product thereby causing unnecessary hardship to Nigerians,” he explained.

He said NNPC has alerted the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) about the development and that PPMC is working in conjunction with the DPR to unravel the identity of those involved in the unpatriotic act, adding that all those found to be involved will be severely sanctioned.

Mr. Pepple called on motorists to avoid panic buying as there is enough stock of PMS in the country to meet demands and that NNPC was doing everything within its powers to resolve the distribution challenge being experienced as a result of pipeline vandalism.

Press Release-NNPC/PPMC Cautions Marketers against Product Diver

Part 1

The management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has warned petroleum products marketers against products diversion and hoarding.

The corporation’s Acting Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs, Mr. Fidel I. Pepple, who disclosed this to journalists on Wednesday explained that NNPC through the Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC) has released enough petrol to sufficiently meet the demand in Abuja and its environs and that the continued existence of long fuel queues at filling stations across the city makes the warning necessary.

“Going by the quantity of PMS that has been released by PPMC from the Kaduna Refinery for distribution to Abuja, we are not supposed to have queues at all in any filling station. On Monday, 71 trucks of PMS were loaded from the Refinery in Kaduna designated for Abuja, but the report we have shown that only 18 trucks arrived Abuja.

Disgrace

Jonathan is a big disappointment and a disgrace

Fuel

I think it is high time that Nigeria government should act fast regarding this issue of fuel scarcity, whenever the runs out.

animals or leaders?

In a nation that's supossed to be blessed with abundant oil reserves? GEJ and all those animal heads that shamelessly refer to themselves as leaders should commit harakiri immediately!
