I don't see what u term "failed parliamentary election" as failed, if it means postponing it to GET IT RIGHT then let it be.

It sad to hear that the national assembly election was postponed on the ground of non distribution of election materials, what then are the preparations INEC has been making all thiswhile.This shows that Jega and his team may not conduct credible election afterall.May God help Nigeria

WAEC EXAM BEGINS ON MONDAY 4TH APRIL. INEC CANNOT DISRUPT A WEST AFRICAN EXAMINATION.

INEC went shopping without a shopping list and the result is what we have today. What has happened today is FAILURE and Jega has failed, simple. Does he want to tell Nigerians that the June 12 election was not fair and free? Now Jega is giving STUPID excuses. If this stupid, idiotic and incompetent professor was not aware 48hrs or even 24 hours ago that material for the election will not be at the different polling stations then my assessment of him as incompetent is conclusive. He concentrated on awarding contracts than on the success of the election. I bet Nigerians that the only transparency they will see in this exercise are the transparent bags (boxes) use for the election. The money allocated by the Federal government and donated by concerned nations (Like the US) would have been enough to procure 2 helicopters each for the 36 states that would haul the election materials to the nearest locations. It would have been enough to build permanent structures in each state to store election materials, a day or 2 before the election. For an already failed state with over 155 million people, the only solution remains a breakup

My country men and women did not surprise me. What did surprised me is that the Chairman had the courage to say I have failed and I will try again. That in itself is a novelty for any Nigerian given an assignment.

The fault is not only in INEC but in all of us. The failure was in major part due to excessive security measures taken by INEC to ensure that the integrity of the election was not compromised. Otherwise, what stopped iNEC from distributing materials to states 3-4 days before polling;fear of compromise. INEC does not trust its officials neither can state governors, the police and the banks whose vaults could have been used to secure the election materials be trusted. So in blaming Jega for this "jaga-jaga"we have to do a lot of soul-searching as a people.
If any jaga-jaga happens to this election it will not be Jega's fault alone but all of us will have to share in the blame, particularly the political elite as represented by PDP. Olusegun Obasanjo, for the rest of his life, must also be held responsible for introducing "do-or-die" into our body politic.

IT BEATS MY IMAGINATION, WHAT WAS THE PROFESSOR AND HIS TEAM THINKING ABOUT?
WHAT WAS THE ARRANGEMENT PUT IN PLACE THAT FAILED?
WAS THE PROCESS/ ARRANGEMENT TESTED TO CHECK IT'S VIABILITY?
WHAT LESSONS HAVE WE LEARNT AND HOW DO WE HOPE TO DELIVER THE MATERIALS ON MONDAY?
NOW THAT WE HAVE FAILED AND THE WHOLE WORLD IS LOOKING AT OUR SHAMBLE,NIGERIAN PLEASE WE SHOULD HANG OUR HEAD IN SHAME AND WE ARE TALKING ABOUT NUCLEAR POWER, GOD FORBID BAD DREAM.
CAN WE EVER GET ANY ELECTION RIGHT? AND OUR POLITICIANS SHOULD NOW SEE THE DEMON THEY HAVE CREATED WINNING AT ALL COST, WINNER TAKES ALL ATTITUDE AND LACK OF TRUST ALL RESULTING IN WHAT HAPPENED TODAY.
