Enough of praising Fashola.I live around Oshodi that most Nigerians praise Fashola administration for. Clearing oshodi took them one night so Why praise him to high heavens on that feat. Drive a minute off the major road there u will be shocked at the terrible situation the road is. That is main Oshodi where people in their thousands live. No single road in that axis, abi dat one na Federal road too?

He can deceive most Lagosians all the time but he cannot deceive all Lagosians all the time.

So zurich, you are ducking and diving in Switzerland. Maybe cleaning a few toilets here and there. Because you certainly aren't a banker there.
But still you prefer to be a toilet cleaner in Switzerland than a living in the land of your birth. This is beacuse you know, that even as toilet cleaner, you have a better life than you would in that backyard of the third world, called Nigeria. So you shut the fuck up.

I was dismayed during the last Local Government election in Lagos State when four days to the election, the incumbent Local Government chairman in Ikeja began to repair some pot holed streets in Ikeja Area, and I asked myself what was this man doing all along, why did he have to wait till election week to get job done on some of those bad roads, even at the eve of the election day, work was still going on, then comes the election day, ACN incumbent chairman won, after the election is gone, they went back to their usual ways, all those roads patched then has gone to worse and has remained so for long, untill few days ago, I started to notice some of the streets being attended to again in a similar fashion, it then dawn on me that another Local Government election is around the corner. For how long can we continue to live with this kind of deception.

My only problem with all this is the Local Government. What really is the role of Local Government? What are they using their allocation for? I am asking this because a lot is wrong with the Local Government system in Nigeria, particularly those of Lagos State, some Local Government Area's in Lagos generate more revenue than some states of the federation. Yet they can not boast of one single project executed in a whole term. One then wonder what they are doing with the huge sums being collected as revenue and other allocations?

Lagos is flooding, so what. Everywhere in the world is flooding no noise. Maybe if we learn to appreciate those leaders/people that do good or have little traits of doing good while in government Nigeria will move forward.

There are many challenges for anyone in government in Lagos considering the amount of work on ground,lets encourage whoever is leading us, particularly Fashola, he is trying his best to clear the mess left over by previous administrations with little or no help from the FG.

Saharareporters these pictures are of a street not an HIGHWAY. Please report the good sides of Lagos because it gives those involved an encouragement to do more,at least there are many good sides if you open your eyes.

I have been living in Lagos all my life and what concerns me as a citizen is my immediate environ which hasn't changed since the coming of ACN (since Tinubu's tenure)has infact deteriorated, from bad to worse, road is motorable at all. Fashola has tried. However, considering the location of lagos and its nearness to the ocean, it will be very hard to completely eradicate flooding, except the state is rebuilt from scratch (which is impossible). Lagosians have to deal with this, sadly.

The simple solution to flooding in lagos..Fashola...build sewage lines, I'm sure our "engineers" are educated enough to easily design and construct gentle sloped concrete sewers with the attendant catch basins....damn!!!! misplaced priority syndrome, have left us underdeveloped, we need to catch up with Benin Republic......lol

Yes you are at liberty to show us the ugly part of Lagos.We accept that we are yet to reach some areas but please know that we are coming. However please try to balance it with the good and fantastic jobs Gov Fashola is doing in Lagos. Show us the good roads,schools,hospitals, landscaping,housing drainages,transportation systems, etc.
