PHOTONEWS: Fuel Scarcity Imposes Hardship On Commuters During Sallah Holidays
What Does it Take to Build A Refinery?
Please, enough of this trash of 'Turn-Around-Maintenance' which has been the pipeline for siphoning billions of =N= for the past two decades! What does it cost to build a refinery from the scratch? But Corrupption will not let it happen in Naija. No country, no matter how well-intentioned the leadership, has developed without combating pervasive corruption. GEJ can never achieve anything if he cannot tackle corruption headlong. The math is simple: you have good intentions to build a power plant, call for bids, someone bribes the govt official and the bid is awarded to him at an inflated price. He does not execute the project and bribes another govt official who issues him clearance certificate! The following year, the Govt plans another budget and the cycle begins again. This is the story of Nig, I know it, you know it, GEJ knows it and everbdy knows it. The world knows it.

ARE WE REALLY SURE NIGERIA PRODUCES OIL
NIGERIANS, GROW UP PLEASE
It's pitiful to observe the way personal interests push us to criticize or praise the government or persons. While it is good to express opinions,it is not the way these groups exchange PERSONAL INSULTS as if they've been group-paid to do this. They leave the politicians and whatever might be their pluses and minuses and waylay themselves. Could anything be ever more ugly and unintelligent? It confirms we haven't started, talk of making the first steps into civilization. An enlightened person will praise or dissent with an analytical mind, and not with personal abuse or bitterness. This is how both the government and the governed can benefit. Can't we all just try, please?
Yes of course, he is coming
Yes of course, he is coming back, and nothing anybody can do. You are very stupid for abusing GEJ. Is he the cause of the decay in this country? You should have vent your anger on those myopic BOKO-HARAM brothers of yours. Whom after being at the helm of affairs for over 30 something years consistently, virtually nothing to show for it. You bastard, has the effrontery to insult someone that came for a rescue. Just know that it takes nothing to destroy, but it take so much to re-build. GEJ is already on the right track.
NOT TOO LONG TO REMEMBER
Its important to realise not too long we planted this in our poling units and already we started hervesting. WE DONT NEED TO CRY.
If anyone had told me the
If anyone had told me the gullibe Nigerians would have started regreting voting for this goathead so early in a choice they so willingly and gleefully made after repeated warnings from few Nigerians who 'saw tomorrow', I would not have believed it. The danger signs were there, very clear for a blind to see. For the simple reason that he annointed corruption, the agree #1 enemy of our progress and promised not to rock the boat was enough signal for us to have had a re-think. Alas, we resorted to what we know best, tribal and religious sentiments. Now we have to suffer it for nine and a half years. He is definitely coming back in 2015.
Does anyone know?
Does anyone know when our refinery projects are going to be completed? lets discuss this forgotten issue at www.160bits.com
Anji kunya
How shamefull, and the so called leaders are not blind, yet they close thier eyes 2 these glarin manifestation of stress & hardship...
We voted Goodluck, not PDP!!!!
The same blockheads that voted for Goodluck are now complaining and suffering....What a nation of blockheads!!!!
A friend even tells me that Nigerians will find a reason to vote Goodluck in 2015 again... Some of the reasons will be Tinubu is a thief (true) and he is ACN (maybe), Buhari/CPC is Boko Haram (false), we will vote for a christian and Badluck is our best option... Let's even say Buhari is old and tribalist, what of Ribadu?
These current crop of Nigerians are very very foolish, even to the point of death....How can a nation rescue itself when its people do not want to be free? Exactly....Just look and laugh...
@dele: please judge Jonathan as an individual - 1
There are millions of highly competent Niger Deltans, just as there are same in all regions of the country. As a Niger Deltan, I can't begin to tell you how ashamed I am of this president. The fact is that not all Niger Deltans support the incompetence on display by Jonathan; many are very ashamed, to be truthful. In that regard, please refer to Jonathan as an individual who happens to hail from Niger Delta. But, please, do not interpret Jonathan's sorry performance as that of Niger Delta. Jonathan simply represents himself, not the entire people of the region. I know many Niger Deltans who can tilt Nigeria away from this sort of embarrassment (fuel scarcity, corruption and thievery, mediocrity, etc.). Got it?
@dele: please judge Jonathan as an individual - 2
In other words, Jonathan, just like president Obama in the U.S. (yes, I know what I'm talking about, with very clear reasons) was a big mistake on the country. Again, an average Niger Deltan is highly competent. Jonathan is a bad reflection and ranks within the bottom 5% of incompetent morons in the region, just like in every region. Did you know Jonathan would not even be allowed to be a village head, in my part of Niger Delta? So yes, I agree with you that the guy is bad for the country, but that does not or should be be interpreted to mean Niger Deltans are incapable of competent leadership.
Goodluck Jonathan, transform Nigeria? What a Shame - 1
In 2012, there's no reason why Nigeria, an OIL PRODUCING COUNTRY, should be dealing with this sort of nonsense. But gross corruption, mediocrity, incompetence would, without a doubt, render a country to this sorry state. Notwithstanding, I'm glad that all the willful idiots in this country who voted for this buffoon of a president can see what they caused. Instead of voting for competence, let all the idiots in the country continue to vote along tribal lines, even if it means supporting the most incompetent lacky on earth like Jonathan.
Goodluck Jonathan, transform Nigeria? What a Shame - 2
I hail from Niger Delta, and there's no way I would ever support someone like Jonathan for "anything." The guy is seriously flawed and incapable of leading any human being, talkless of presiding over a complex entity like Nigeria. So, let the suffering continue until we stop thinking with our asses. Nigerians who voted for and continue to support this abomination of president, Goodluck Jonathan, are a disgrace!!!!
HOPE THIS IS NOT A WAY FOR
HOPE THIS IS NOT A WAY FOR OUR GOVT TO INCREASE FUEL PRICE !!!
we have voted
We have voted and now we must pay the repercursions.
why celebrate sallah
There is no need for celebration of Salah this year. This is just to lure people to be killed by boko haram. A good serving muslim should avoid the mosque, kill your ram and celebrate with your family at home. The country has left the law abiding Nigerians on their own. See the kidnapping episodes everyday all over Nigeria.
we are back in those dark
we are back in those dark days of general abacha. But can someone tell me what this niger delta president of a man can handle well. absolutely nothing!!! Even to import a product and then distribute also become a problem. na wa for this man ooooo.
VOTE FOR A MAN NOT A MORON
ITS WONDERFUL WHAT OUR VOTES CAN DO.
