PHOTONEWS: Joint Action Front Leads Commercial Bike Riders To Fight Lagos Traffic Law
JAF leadership has insisted that motorbikes must be permitted to return to commercial operations, arguing that if a BRT lane could be dedicated for Lagbus, the same option would work for bikes to operate safely, in opposition to creating mega unemployment in the guise of creating a mega city.
You are on your own. There is
You are on your own. There is nothing wrong with us. we don't need you on Nigeria either.
Let Okada stay off major road
I really support Fashola's ban of okada on major roads. The motorcycle transportation can continue in areas but its rather insane in civilized society to have okada riders plying major dual carriageway like ikorodu where they will be competing with fast moving vehicle just dropping in the middle of road.
Truth be told, they were stopped in Abuja and most states in the country to create sanity, why is Lagos case different even when it is not been stopped totally.
Let there be sanity in Lagos. Bye bye to okada riders on highway. It is not even done in India.

I can't stand this okada
I can't stand this okada riders;
1. they killed my mother
2. most of them are kids without liscence
3. there are wards specially dedicated to okada
recks and their victims in major hospitals all
over Nigeria
4. finally, they are criminals on bikes--dangerous.
Tired of That Contraption Called Nigeria
I am just so tired of that country. I ain't coming back...no way. Never.
HIGH TIME
Nigeria have tried their so called educated for decades with nothing to show for it,i think its high time the poor masses constitute themselves into a high powered forum and vote for themselves, since the population of eligible voters that are poor, unemployed etc...are far more than the comfortables, they will surely take over.Nigeria politicians have shown that education does not correspond into performances, rather, they use it in fooling the people into believing the unreal, manipulating and intimidating them. Most south american countries are governed by not so educated politicians and they are far ahead of us in level of development etc...
NA WAH O!
THE SITUATION IN 9JA IS SO FAR GONE THAT WHAT SHOULD BE ABNORMAL IS NOW NORMAL, AND WHAT SHOULD BE NORMAL IS NOW ABNORMAL! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD OKADA RIDING SHOULD NOT BE A JOB! NEITHER SHOULD OKADAS BE A PRIMARY FORM OF TRANSPORTATION. THE OPERATION OF ANY VEHICLE IS A PRIVILEDGE NOT A RIGHT! THE GOV'T HAS A RIGHT TO SUSPEND DRIVING PRIVILEDGES OF ANY INDIVIDUAL WHERE IT DEEMS THERE ARE SAFETY ISSUES TO THE LARGER SOCIETY! TO DRIVE IS NOT A HUMAN RIGHT! WHAT THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE CLAMOURING FOR IS FOR GOV'T ASSISTANCE IN MEANINGFULL EMPLOYMENT OR SELF EMPLOYMENT; WAYS OF GENERATING WEALTH. NOT FOR THE RIGHT TO RIDE OKADA! IMAGINE WHAT THE STATE WOULD LOOK LIKE IF EVERYONE THAT IS OUT OF WORK AND COULD DO SO PUTS AN OKADA ON THE ROAD! ABSOLUTE CHAOS! RIGHT ON GOVERNOR FASHOLA! THIS MENANCE CALLED OKADA SHOULD BE OFF THE ROADS! PEOPLE SHOULD FIND OTHERS WAYS THROUGH TRUE CREATION OF WEALTH! BY THE WAY LAGOS IS NOT FOR EVERYBODY, IF YOU HAVE NO WORK GO BACK TO YOUR VILLAGE!
