RE: Multiple Accidents Kill 32 in Abuja

It is a pity that Nigeria lost yet again valuable lives in multiple accidents. Why have we not all come to understand that adhering to simple rules and regulations of traffic saves lives? Both motorists and passengers are at fault. When a motorist is misbehaving while driving, how many passengers tell him/her to drive carefully? When a motorcyclist or a motorist beat the red light of the traffic light (oh sorry most of our towns do not have traffic lights and even if they do they are not functional) how many passengers talk some sense to them? The questions go on and on. Please let us all be watchful and careful when we use our roads. Thank you.

i support your judgement..................

i support your point dear, u make more sense than the rest. the so called govt travels all the time to all this foreign countries and yet they can't build nigeria to be like that....... that the hell

ADVICE

There is nothing like goverment in Nigeria, I am 50 yrs old i can not talk of single thing that is possitive that NIgeria gov. has done for anybody that i know. Those criminals will call goverment.

AN ADVICE.

Please Government should do something about that road, those trailers should have their lent, or make a by-pass for them or they should be moving during the night to avoid killing of innocent of soul. Thanks.

Do we really have a

Do we really have a government that care for its citizen?

We shouldnt be blaming

We shouldnt be blaming government for anything. We should blame ourselves, becouse, we can pretent about the reality that many of us are rituals, some-demonic, others-heartless, many-careless. our problem in Nigeria has rised to Individual-Level, we should start thinking of adjusting our faith in order to have a better Nigeria.G0vernment is nothing else but a common masses, if we blame them, then tactically we are blaming ourselves. Lets think positive.

This is very sad. It appears

This is very sad. It appears nothing works in the Nigeria;one of the richest black nation in the world

GOD SAVE US.

PLEASE GOD KINDLY ARREST THE ACCIDENT SITUATION AT KUGBO. MAY GOD GRANT THE FAMILY OF THE BEREAVED THE FORTITUDE TO BEAR THE LOST.

Hmmmmm

I am confused with all this analysis by everyone on this comment page. What is the cause of the accident? No one on this comment page is addressing the root cause of this particular accident. Address the issue and stop asking government to do everything for you. Accident happens all over the world so Nigeria bad drivers or roads are not different.

According to one of the

According to one of the comments above, the writer was asking if this is a fault of the government. I can categorically inform the writer that yes! its the responsibility of the government and duty as well to protect and serve its citizen. The unabated motor accident on Niaja roads are largely due to over reliant on the use of only road as means of transportation. imagine a situation where people commute daily through other means such as train, tram, underground and ferries, this will definitely reduce the amount of people on the road at the same time, hence reduce the numbers of death on our road. GEJ government need as a matter of fact start to look and thinking outside the box in terms of other means of transportation.

accident

the 32 persons that lost their lives, may the good lord grand them enternal rest.

Continue Blaming Govt for everything

We place all blames on government. We waite for government to drive our cars for us, we blame government when we fail to us our heads and bus drivers behave as though there is a second life. We blame government when passengers fail to caution the driver because they want to get to their detinations fast fast. Keep blaming government for everything.

fatal auto crashes in the country

the situation is absolutely appalin, when i embark on a journey in this i am seldom at peace until i finally get to my destination,i watch as pple drive recklessly ,most trailers and heavy duty vehicles have no functional breaks, nad i ask my self why wont there be accidents on our roads for God sakeMAY ALMIGHTY ALLAH save us

First : May their souls rest

First : May their souls rest in peace.
The sacrifice could be the result of other's multiple deviations/negligence of the right things that should have been and which can still be done today to prevent or reduce future occurrence!!

Examples:
i)Are all the drivers on the Nigerian roads qualified to drive?
ii)Do we have adequate speed limit signs on the roads according to the road conditions?
iii)Do we have enough road safety personnel to sincerely monitor and discipline the violators of traffic regulations?
iv) Who implements/who is responsible): ANSWER=
Every body is responsible!!. One can not criticize the wrongs which one participates in doing until every one stands for the right things to do for every body's good.

my friend u dnt wish dis

my friend u dnt wish dis country well so pls stop annointin curses on us .we will make it thru d rain inshaAllah

Nigeria Has No Government

No road markings in Nigeria, also no adequate roads and road signs, vehicles are not undergoing rutine inspections with death traps on expressway. When will Nigerian government learn how to be accountable to the citizens. Nigeria has no government

empty head

i thing u should first look at ur reasoning ability b4 calling pple big head and.... acident did nt start yesterday and it will nt stop,u might be the next.no matter who becomes president it cant stop.y are u hiding ur identity,u are jst wat i call MUNTULA

i wonder how people reason

Are you trying to tell me that the road would have been in good shape by now supposing our current president is BB,who knows whose next maybe its someone close to you.we better start to think of a way out rather than critics

driver of the truck

those drivers are too young to be trailer drivers,i wonder how those young boys got their driving licenses if at all they have 1,the FRSC should give us explanation,or are they motor boys turned drivers? the govt should do a check on the tanker/trailer owners to c if they have licensed drivers.

NYAYA MULTIPLE ACCIDENT

May the souls of the faithful departed rest in perfect peace Amen.

poposeful killing of citizen

Reasons are best known to the Govt of the day.for: 1. refusing to open up another road from karu to link Asokoro (<10km), 2.refusing to open up another road to link nyanya and mpape (<15km),we all know that they will loose their oat of office if they do,until one palace boy break leg like that of lokoja- Abuja road before award for construction. leave them GOD will answer one day

government start from us.

Is these also the fault of the government? why do we have to blame the government for our mistakes.Anyway, not until we see ourselves as government, the government can not function properly. May their soul rest in peace. When a man dies, they who survive him ask what property he has left behind. The angel who bend over the dead ask what good deeds he has set before him.

@ Peto aka Sir Peto

Bro,

Can I kindly request that you focus the gist of your comments on the issue being discussed rather than, as usual, displaying your ignorance and bigotry, for once?
