Several politicians and media practitioners have gone to pay homage to the family of the publisher of Nigerian Guardian newspaper, Alex Ibru.
Mr. Ibru died early yesterday after a prolong illness relating to the cancer of the brain and parkinson disease resulting from an assasination attempt by the Abacha regime in 1994. Mr. Ibru, who was shot in the face, lost the use of one eye.

Nobody wrote that gunshot cause parkinson or cancer disease. The writer only mentioned the assassination attempt could have led to especially the fear truma which could cause emotional imbalance in the body chemistry and psychologically this could result to any kind of disease.

When a rich man died in Nigeria, then his death will be a national morn but once the death involves a poor soul, there will be no official recognition. it is a pity but who really deserve to die among this two class. We all are candidate of Mr. death irrespective of our social statue or bureaucratic class.
