PHOTONEWS: The SANDY-Vastation Of New York And New Jersey
Some photos of damages wrought by Hurricane Sandy in New York and New Jersey.
Sandy Whispers
Your crude presence
You have rudely announced
If the bright day the ader must bring
Then abortion we must contemplate
Else the tortured womb open may burst
Majority monstrous snakes to harvest
Pray thee Oh God to prevent
Sandy, murky, stony, rocky whatever
The loud cry of devoud souls re-echos
Yet rememberance you crave
From our memory you are cast
Never ever shall you be remembered.
YOU GO SAHARA REPORTERS
THANKS FOR THE PHOTOS

SANDY WHISPERS
Sandy Whispers
I come not to shock and awe
But to gently remind of my rape
For my tear ducts have burst their banks
And the full moon witnesses my pregnant grief.
I am Mother and this is my anguish
My agony is of crude shavings
Cold metallic hands scraping my womb
Manically harvesting my silent unborn.
Your flood waters are my birth waters breaking
The whooshing dirge for infants lost
And the thunder my lament for my children miscarried
By the fevered greed of your dislocation.
Remember me as of old
Remember me as my children of the rainforests do
I am Mother
I am your Mother.
