Senator Tambuwal’s Affidavit and Its Shocking revealations

I wish to respond to the sworn affidavit deposited at High Court of Justice Abuja by Senator Dahiru Tambuwal that was published in the Daily Trust of Friday, 12 March 2010. The publication is unbecoming of a person of his status, a distinguished senator, who we are proud of in view of his leadership qualities and credentials.

On that CJN’s interference in the Sokoto State Governorship Election case

On the 24th February 2010, the Court of Appeal Sokoto division confirmed to the public while in session that the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Honourable Justice Katina-Alu, has written a letter to them confirming the receipt of a petition from Yahaya Mahmood Esq counsel representing INEC against the president and Justices of the Court of Appeal on the Judgement that they were about to deliver and that the Judgement should be reserved pending his investigation of the Petition.

On the 24th of February 2010, I went into Bodlinks Ltd, an MTN dealer located at Ring Road in Ibadan, purchased the MTN monthly internet bundle and paid the sum of N10,000 for the service. The reference number for the transaction is 0180930475.
