How on earth can a progressive minded person say that the conditions of our union have been clearly set out in the constitution? Are ACF satisfied with the confusion & anarchy that this defective constitution is engendering in the society? We need Sovereign National Conference to set out in clear terms the conditions for our union if we are to continue to be a country. The present constitution is not a constitution of Nigerians by Nigerians people. It is a consitution handed down by opportunistic & selfish military class to protect themselves.

We need true fiscal federalism as opposed to the current unitary sysstem. The centre MUST be thinned down and more powers devolved to regions and states. We need state police for effective crime control prevention. Let each region develop at their own pace; others should not be slowed down.
