We should understand that Jonathan comes from a higher position of knowledge in government than many of us. So we must give him the benefit of the doubt. It's idiotic and illiteracy for anyone that blames any tribe whenever national issues are being discussed.

We have had Ribadu, Farida Waziri and now Ibrahim Lamorde. Why does the EFCC Chairperson have to be a Northern Muslim? and why appoint the Chairperson from the hugely corrupt Police force? This is like appointing a known thief as a security guard.
Judging by the Shenanigans of Sanusi at CBN, very soon, we will start hearing of Islamic Investigation..
Merely replacing the face of the Chairperson will not solve the problems at the EFCC without reforms to its Modus Operandi. For starters, we need a special Court to hear only fraud/bribery/corruption cases.
We can look to appoint a Nigerian who has worked at the FBI, CIA, or other reputable crime fighting institutions. We need a Chairperson with the right pedigree and reputable experience not just someone who fits the box of a quota system.
