The ECWA christian leaders more than any of you arm-chair critics understands what went on in Kaduna, they witness with their own eyes and hence saw a reason to extend a hand of peace.
It is sad, that many paint a picture of sit-down look xtian that was being massacred by Muslims!. That is by far the contrary; in the last 2 crisis (Post Election & Post-Bombing Reprisal); The Christian Youths were the ones that massacred Muslims by far more than what the Hausa's carried out . Hence the need to lead a reconciliation; it is a fantastic effort by the ECWA religious community. There a lot of open wounds on both sides that needs to heal, both religious community need to seek forgiveness from each other and reconcile. Lastly, most of you guys don't understand what went on in Kaduna, perhaps people should carry out their investigation before coming to rant out rubbish here.

I dont know what some of these southern xtian commentators want anymore. You said the muslims are the evil ones but all the time you are the people spreading hatred and causing disharmony. I expect every right thinking person to applaud this bold step taken by the ECWA church but you are here criticizing everyone but yourselves. If u want ECWA to buy guns and face the muslims can you come over to handle the weapons?. I am not surprised at all;never,as in Kaduna,are christians who know christianity very well and equally,there are muslims who know what islam teaches very well.

Didn't Christ say "you have heard that it has been said, 'love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'
