i beg to differ with His Eminence on the use of local police. AU, whilst I have not read Wahala's comment, I can assume he is also pro-negotiation. There is absolutely nothin wrong in negotiating with BH as long as the FGN does so from a position of strength. The desires of BH as incoherently articulated at the moment is not something to consider inasmuch as the FGN is not considering a SNC, which is a more civilised way forward. If you feel negotiating with BH at this point in time, then we need to revisit the need for the SNC.

Verify if goverment functionaries indeed had any contact with the suspect to dialogue. Also get to know who the suspect really is and track all communications and the communicants (BH and others).
