Christianity is a product of Judaism and I am not holding brief for the religion since I am not a Jew. But we share a common religious heritage. Notice that I said religious heritage. I see that you have quotes passages of the Old Testaments to support your claim that they are similar. However, I must point out to you that the coming of Christ Our Saviour changed the law. While the 10 commandments stand as the received foundation of Christianity, he encapsulated all the laws into one when he commanded us to love our neighbours as ourselves [Matthew 22:36-40]. He never fought a war. In fact when one one his disciples tried to fight back, he performed one of his last miracles, by healing the wounded soldier.

I do understand that there are historical narratives and dimensions to the Holy Bible. I quite agree with you that virginity in the bible is used as a virtuous state, a state of ‘purity’.
