A Niger Delta militant, Soboma George, Reported Dead In An Assassination Plot
Unidentified gunmen are reported to have shot and killed Soboma George, one of the most dreaded Niger Delta militants. The gunmen of a rival gang drove in a black SUV to the alleged murder site.
SaharaReporters sources said George was killed today at the Bathus Field in the Borkiri area, old Port Harcourt
Soboma, 30, until his death led a cult gang known as the "Outlaws" and was a well-known commander of MEND. In 2007, a joint military operation claimed it had tracked and killed George but he later re-emerged and dispelled the rumors. George was one of the militant gang leaders to embrace Yar'adua's Amnesty in August 2009.
Our sources said George was shot beside another female hawker who later died in hospital. The gunmen who reportedly shot him took his body away. Police sources won't confirm his death since his body was nowhere to be found.

Struggling of Marginalised Rich People
The rich people are being killed just because they are ask for your right. they called militant, thieves and unspeakable names. They called their struggle violent. Despite the abundance of wealth, they are subjected to poverty, underdevelopment, suffering just to mention a few. The wealth was siphoned to the north, west and east of 9aija leaving the rich with barely to eat.
They souls of our brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers are crying for vengeance. Oh ye earth be prepared when the father comes for the son.
Shun violence
Our dear beloved brothers and sisters of Niger delta we have all seen that violence does not pay and it does not yield any fruitful result,We have lost so many of our youth all in the name of violence, check back from okrika, kalabari, ikwere villages and even port harcourt, please check the numbers of well meaning youths the leaders of tomorrow that we have lost to this unending violence, We lost husbands, wives, properties and children who knew nothing to this violence.
Our dear youths I encourage you all today to shun violence, it does not pay, it only destroys and never repairs.
God bless you all Niger delta youths as you embrace peace and shun violence
SOBOMA DEAD ...RIGHTLY....
We should beginning to ascertain the fact before we write in public. Is Soboma quarrling with Ameach? Has he not killed enough? It is like we are fast in forgetting the biblical quotes that says--he who killed by the sword shall die by the sword..SOBO has killed alot with gun and needs to pay the supreme call...
Live The Youhtful Gov alone and search for the killers of your cult boss elsewhere from Okirika.
ENOUGH BLOOD ON HIS NECK TOO!
Much as i have respect for human life, i despise killers & perpetrators of evil! George had shed enough blood & dint deserve to live. This is a clarion call on others to repent & lead d peace path.
Beware of Amaechi and his brothers dance band.
This is not about Ikwerre and Okrika or Kalabari and Ogoni people. Its not about Opobo and Bonny. Its about members of the most peace loving human family on earth. The people of Rivers state.Sadly politics in that state, is often decided by the custodians of the economy of that state. The settlers. They used Odili, made their money and dumped him with beads made in China as his reward in Abuja. Its those foreign beads that by extension, controls the mind and heart of Amaechi, the hangman of the Niger Delta. Instead of towing the line of peace, Amaechi prefers war.The war Amaechi and the bandits urging him on are looking for, will not be fought in Rivers State. Its now left for Jona to act and he must do so quickly before the engine of his administration crumbles like a pack of cards-all because of Amaechi and his brothers dance band..
The death of a Militant
Somebody somewhere is happy with the bloodshed in Port Harcourt and other parts of Rivers State. To say that is not connected with the local and National politics is to say deny the existence f sunlight. The environmental issue in the Niger Delta seems remotely linked to the crisis. Newsmen and photographers should do well to douse the etnsion in the Niger Delta. This news item should be thoroughly investigated and reported as it may, in the way is is here, lead to another bloodbathe. Port Harcourt deserves peace!
ex-Militants- Soboma RIP
Soboma RIP.. Nigerians always quote the bible without thinkin first.. Look at Iraq civilian deaths..so what happens to the American soldiers? Soboma was eliminated by PDP/NSA/DMI/SSS/Police trained hit squad. This is no Cultism crap... Minorities will not fight each other again. This propaganda to instigate various ex-militant camps against each other.. divide and rule tactics...All ex-militant leaders are marked for elimination by a well trained (foreign contractor trainers) to track and kill militants over time,,one by one. Killers are patient and have money..they are waiting, 2yrs later another militant leader will die violently..we shall complain silently and it will die..public sentiment fades and the killers strikes again.. Oil cos security consultants/NSA/SSS/PDP/Govt are sponsors of killer squad in ND region.. where is justice? courts? jury trial? evidence? this is jungle justice from Abuja...
May the soul of Amaechis assassins rot in hell
Would GEJ be able to ask sleepy ONOVO to fish out his killers? Those who were hired to murder Bola Ige were not found. In Kens case, a hang man was imported from the hottest part of Niger Republic to come and hang him. A tall huge godogodo man. We all saw him arrive PHC with his kit. Not in Georges case, his killers must have shaved his head by now-with blood, dripping from it to drink their palm wine-in the evil forest of their ancestors-not killed for money-but murdered because of their hatred for the people of the Niger Delta-will GEJ be able to move his blood thirsty CPs from the Niger Delta through (WETIN CONCERN ME) PAPA ONOVO-will he able to act in the interest of the dwellers in the slums of PHC water side? The very water fronts that, Amaechi wants to hand-over to the settlers-will GEJ be able to answer the call to duty as madam Patience did to Amaechi recently to save the ppl of Rivers State and the Niger Delta as a whole? Only time will tell.
Its a wake up call-Amaechi the evil one must go join Odili
"Character isn’t inherited. One builds it daily by the way one thinks and acts, thought by thought, action by action. If one lets fear or hate or anger take possession of the mind, they become self-forged chains." -- Helen Douglas So George had to die. "Too often we underestimate how quickly our feelings are going to change because we underestimate our ability to change them." -- David Gilbert So George had to die for Amaechi to remain in Government House to serve the interest of the settlers in Rivers State..
He went for peace tagged amnesty-yet was killed by amaechi.
Because we are all swimming under the tide of the un-accountable oil wells which has helped to sustain our visionless ideas 4 d past 50yrs, we are yet to understand how a man of peace like Ken SaroWiwa can be hanged by Abacha like a goat. Nigerians dont just care, even if an atomic bomb is dropped on the head of the entire ppl of the Niger Delta, like HIROSHIMA. Provided the oil revenue keeps flowing into their states. From South Africa to Ghana, the citizens fought for them Rights. That is why there more progressives in those countries than the entire 150m humans wasting the oil resources of the Niger Delta put together. Amaechi and Odili are pursuing an agenda for the settlers. So, George had to die. It wld have been better for him to remain in the creeks fighting than to be killed by the bullet of the settlers in Port-Harcourt because of 2011. May his soul not rest until Ameachi and Odili are buried in the evil forest of their ancestors where their rotten souls belong.
death!
nobody dance forever.may his soul rest in peace
He that kill by sword shall surely die by sword.
No king has ever rule'
those who shed human blood do
those who shed human blood do not recieve my sympathy....this guy could have been an armed robber if the noble cause for the niger delta did not engage him.i have my reservations for those who are capable of killing irrespective of the provocation...good guys dont kill......he lived the hard way and died the hard way......he belonged to the league of the few bad people in our world who choose violence above peaceful reconciliations...as a christian, i pray that God grant him eternal rest despite his imperfections.
Na Wa o
ummmmmm hmmmmmmmm,
Soulja Go, Soulja Come.
RIP Soboma George
