Dr Sola Saraki an old boy of my alma mater-Eko Boys' High School- during his earthly life was a medical doctor & a politician.I had had cause to visit him at his Ofin clinic on Lagos island in 1968 in the company of my mentor/principal Reverend Akin Adesola of blessed memory,and on some ocassions between 1979 & 1981 when seeking his sponsorship to travel to London for further studies,which didn't materialise eventually due to a wicked game by some of his aides then who mostly were political hangers-on.
As a human being,he had his weaknesses but we also respected his strength.
May he find peace with his maker,as he journeys on in eternity.
