Nigerian Woman Dies On Delta Airline Flight From Lagos
A 57-year-old Nigerian woman died today on a Delta airline flight from Lagos to Atlanta. The woman died about an hour before Delta flight 53 was scheduled to land at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation told Saharareporters that the woman's body was brought into their office this morning for autopsy. He declined to disclose the identity of the dead passenger, referring us, instead, to the FBI field officer Steve Schmidt, who is in charge of the investigations. However, the FBI field officer said they won't be commenting on the case since it was apparent that there was no foul play in the death of the passenger.
Delta airline has similarly refused to disclose the identity of the passenger, or the circumstances in which she died.
where?
Gina, congrats. where can i get SSKI to buy?
angie
hi
you must be very mad for saying such, what is in your country or delta airline if not for our stupied gorvenment what are we looking for up and down.
Ovarian Cysts Treat
3 weeks on SSKI (3 tablets a day) and my ovarian cyst was gone by the end of my last period. No pain, no tenderness. Yea yea!! I plan to take it every day with a 1-2 day break here and there. I may switch to 1 drop of lugol's iodine later on and see if that has the same preventative effect to avoid the ovarian cysts treat.
Nigerians are Fools & hollow
Nigerians criticizing Delta Airline are idiots & slaves in Nigeria. Nigeria as a country can not operate an Airline(Nigerian Airways) The Elephant that could not fly-how can an elephant fly? FOOLs. Now i am not a fan of Delta Airline. I do not fly the Atlanta-Lagos not because of Delta but because of Nigerians who are ready to carry ship as hand luggage into an airplane. The are niose-makers & do not follow or adhere to cabin crew orders. A lady was ready to fight me on this same flight that someone died. She was directly in front of me & her compliant was I disturb her by changing the nub on the TV set. She was vulger, loud, insultive, rude & very aggresive. She was cursing & using bad words yet in front of her teenage daughter. She was boastiful & talking as if she owns the plane. The crew had to interven to quite her. She stop harassing after which they threaten to hand us or her to the Police. Delta is not at fault but the Nigerian passenges. Just as Nigerians prefer to elect 419ners, Crooks, Money-bags as Governors, Senators hence they have inept leadership. Delta route of Atlanta=Lagos is the worst service provided by an airline in terms of service because the passnders are "SLAVE NIGERIANS". gaskytruth@gmail.com

Nigeria is an Apartheid Country - This article must be published Sarahareporters! And lets here people comment on it. thx.
Delta Airline is a long Flight
To be on air for 12 or 18 straight hours, is a very long time. What our people should do is to try to get up frequently and walk the length of the airplane (to& fro)especially our aged ones (from 50 upwards)while on air. They should also try to take baby aspirin everyday for a week before their trip this would help to prevent blood cloth, while on such a long flight. Above all find out from your dosctor before taking baby aspirin, it is not safe for everyone.
May the lord of host send
May the lord of host send lighting to strike your mouth... How dare you speak ill of the dead? And call heart attack the nigerian way of dying?
WHAT THE HELL are you saying?

Metastatic Ovarian Cancer
Metastatic ovarian cancer is a considerable public health problem in the United States, affecting more than 75% of the 23,000 women with ovarian cancer at the time of diagnosis.[1,2] By definition, such patients have tumors that have spread beyond the ovary itself, usually involving the pelvis and upper abdomen.
The pattern of spread for epithelial ovarian cancer is primarily intra-abdominal, favoring the visceral and parietal peritoneal surfaces; secondary involvement of underlying organs typically affects the omentum, upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, bladder, liver, and spleen. Intra-abdominal spread is commonly associated with the presence of ascites and pleural effusions.[3]
Metastasis to the retroperitoneal lymphatics, specifically the pelvic and para-aortic lymph nodes, may also occur. Rarely, ovarian cancers can metastasize to distant sites such as supraclavicular lymph nodes, bone, the lung parenchyma, or the brain.[3]
Tumor burden within the abdominal cavity in women with newly diagnosed cancers as well as those with recurrence is generally associated with debilitating symptoms. Such symptoms produced by the disease process are further compounded by side effects and complications of therapy. It is not surprising, then, that both the disease and its treatment can have a profound impact on quality of life.
RIP woman
Delta airline crews should be asked about the woman's death.Because their not vigilant in their work.
RIP woman
It is a pity that the woman died in flight. But how did it happen i think the crews should be able to say something. And delta airline should improve in their services.
OH DEATH WHERE IS THY STING!
This is not the first time nigerian is dying on international airline, 2007 a young nigerian guy died on the BA l boarded from UK, death can come anyhow or anywhere and anymeans, its may not be the airline fault. My brothers and sisters death will definitely come but let us all be more concerned where we will spend our eternity(after death), accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and saviour and death will be nothing. May God comfort the family of the deceased.
Nigeria is an Apartheid Country
Nigeria is a Racist/Apartheid Country. Believe it or not. But unlike the well-known system of apartheid where light-skinned citizens of a country discriminate against coloured foreigners, we here in Nigeria discriminate against ourselves in favour of light-skinned foreigners.
Because of this situation, Riff-raffs from Asian states like Lebanon, Syria, India and lately China can come here to treat Nigerians like scum with the active connivance/assistance of fellow Nigerians.
Our government treats us like muck. They allow foreign companies to do what they call casualisation of workers whereby these poor Nigerian casual workers have no rights or contracts whatsoever. If they lose their limbs or eyes to industrial machinery they are simply kicked-out with little or no compensation.
Look at the roasting to death of Nigerian workers at an Asian-owned rubber products factory at Ikorodu some years ago. Their families were hushed-up with pittances.Lately, the workers at Shoprite cried out against the oppression they endure at the hands of their South African management. Our labour laws are archaic and non-existent.
Many of these factories employ Nigerian foremen, supervisors and personnel managers to enforce evil policies against their fellow citizens; they bring in Asian technicians to be the bosses of graduate Nigerian engineers.Even when Nigerian citizens have issues with the police against light-skinned foreigners, policemen are nauseatingly ready to meet the whims of the white foreigner to the detriment of the Nigerian.Look at the disgraceful means of transport that Julius Berger uses to transport its workmen, can they do that in Germany and get away with it?.The list is endless. The whole world now knows that Nigerians will rather live on their knees than die on their feet.Who can help a people who will not help themselves.
Nigerian woman dies in Delta flight
Well, this is a lesson that death is no respecter of persons, places or things. It will come when it will. Where, how and when, nobody knows. This should also serve to remind those looting the Nigerian treasury that death is no respecter of looters.May the woman who died mid-air rest in peace as she is committed to mother earth.
it is sad ,i pray for repose
it is sad ,i pray for repose of the dead soul ,delta airline should do necessry right for the family of deceased without wasting time and subjecting them to unnecessary bottleneck protocol
RIP
Whatever and however she may have died, the key thing is that she is dead. May her soul rest in Gods bossom
Rest in Peace.
May the Lord Almighty be with d family of the deceased. May Her gentle soul rest in peace.
And may God Almighty be with us all in this country Nigeria in Jesus name, lets pray together for a positive change, and God will hear us.
how she died
did cocaine explode in her stomach or may be she died of brief illness of heart attack, the nigerian style?
Nigerians should stop flying
Nigerians should stop flying with delta.delta airline has absolutely no respect for africans, all the company cares for is our money.we don't have a government that cares so why would delta not recolonize africa?. since we don't have a gov that cares about what happens to her citizens anywhere,we have to bring about the change by boycotting delta , british airways etc .we must not let these low lives of the human species continue to treat GOD's chosen children as trash.
The service and the way that they treat us is absolutley despicable. These actions cannot continue and we must stand up to these companies who continue to profit from us but refuse to treat us with the dignity that we deserve.
RIP
may her soul RIP and her last journey be
smooth.
Delta should contact the
Delta should contact the family of the deceased before the rest of us get that information. That is the right to do. The police cannot keep this information secret because all deaths are documented in the US and that information will become public notice and in some localities, you can access the data on the internet in a couple of days.
I strongly agree that Delta is taking the Nigerian cunstomers for granted. I have flown the trans-altlantic from US to Paris, US to London. Those flights are not as packed and revenue generating to Delta as the ATL-LOS and NYC-ABV routes.
Nigerians should make a statement to Delta and start patronizing other airlines. Delta does not deserve our patronage. Corporate America recognizes one world and onr color; Dollar and Green. Anything else is noise making.
please get the fact before circulating
The cause of death was diffuse, metastatic ovarian cancer.
please get the fact before circulating
its a sad event that has occurred to this lady but fact have emerged that she was en route for treatment here in the USA,The cause of death was diffuse, metastatic ovarian cancer, this is a report from the police in Atlanta.so please e gbe bo runn
Delta Airline
Folks get over it, and stop whining about the maltreatment of Nigerians. No one is forced to travel on Delta airline or travel to USA. I do not understand the fascination with going there anyway. Nigerian leaders are not respected there either ala corruption, money laundry and drug trafficking . America is not the only country on this planet. My condolences to the family of the deceased though.
How did you come to that
How did you come to that conclusion? What have they done wrong by making sure the family does not find out about the death of their loved one on the pages of the newspapers. It is only right that they are notified properly before the public. I seriously think you should get rid of your misconceptons and approach matters in a logical way...Everybody is not out to get the average Ngerian, you are given every opportunity to prove yourself but alas, that opportunity as gone to waste a lot of times. My two cents!

Thank you my brother...i
Thank you my brother...i still wonder why our people despite their educational and intellectual level continue to behave as street hawkers and people without sense of direction. You are right at point!
What's up with the cargo
What's up with the cargo container inside the fuselage? That's a bit scary for me and I wonder how that got there or is this just a photoshop touchup? Please respond as soon as practicable because I'm scheduled to fly back to Lagos with them If the picture is true, then I need to fly another airline ASAP.
