By Saharareporters, New York

The meeting between the Nigerian Labour Congress and The TUC on one side and the Jonathan regime on the other ended in another deadlock tonight as labour leaders refused to back down from its earlier position that President Jonathan revert to N65 price for petrol as earlier reported by Saharareporters.

Where are the military.

Where are the military, you should take coup against this mindless man
He don't even deserve to be call as a Nigerian talkless of president.

JoNaThAn Vs NIGERIA

It Is clearly shown that Jonathan is up to something $ I pray He doesn't end like Gadahffi, pharaoh etc. We voted him there $ we still have the say!

INSINCERE!

Mr. Jonathan seems not to regard Nigerians at all. He has surrounded his negotiation team with THIEVES, FRAUDSTERS, LOOTERS, ELECTION RIGGERS such as Suswam and Akpabio i.e sheer insincere to Nigerians. Jonathan was happy when Tunde Bakare, Buhari & other politicians demonstrated that Jonathan should be sworn in when Yar Adua was sick. But now Jonathan & his cohorts are calling them hijackers of protest. The Lord by His grace will help us from this heartless corrupt federal and state governments.

SENATORS, REPS & MINISTERS FOR IMMEDIATE PROBE

The focus of the current protests is misplaced. OK for now, we have made out point about fuel subsidy and it is CLEAR to everyone that MAIN problem is the corruption of our leaders - all of them. So I suggest that from Monday, the main focus of the protests and OCCUPY everywhere MUST be that all the senators, all house of rep members & all ministers etc. MUST be probed. Let's occupy the national assembly to root out all th corrupt thieves there and we will have started on the right footing.Let’s occupy their private homes & properties-if possible burn them down & let them know we are serious.Anything short of that from Monday will be a waste of time.Let's deal with the root of it all.

Oga GEJ help the youths

Many youths are crying, joing different kinds of satanic group. This groups will not improve the nation's but destroy the nation's pride and integrity.
NIGERIA ONI BAJE!!!

I must commend the federal

I must commend the federal government for trying to restructure this country, they should never relent their effort mostly the President, Nigeria should please give this present government a chance to do their best, Buhari, IBB,Atiku has also handle the affair of this country before what was the achievement? Fuel subsidy removal of not is not the issue now, all Nigeria must know that Nigeria problem is not oil subsidy our problem is beyond that only we are just been deceived with this issues on ground so that they can achieve their aim. Nigeria problem is spiritual and it is only the SATGURU of this time that solve it for us nobody else because his presence in Nigeria have swept all the negative pricipalities away,

He want to divide the country into two

Presidet GEJ did not run out of idias by saying there are members of Boko Haram in the Military, Police, etc... cos he want to create confution and divide the country into tow. and i am very much sure he will not revert the subsidy's status as last year

NOW OR NEVER: LABOUR, DON'T RELENT

Good things are hard to get. Labour, Nigerian people are with you. NOW or NEVER is the time to set the ball rolling towards: "a Nigeria for all" and not for a few individuals; a real fight against curruption, a fight against poverty, sense of patriotism in EVERY Nigerian including the leaders, a big STOP to money laundering and enriching of already rich western countries etc. I know it's not a simple fight, but WE CAN. NOW OR NEVER. Nigeria is been ruled by selfish, non patriotic and satanic individuals and through this strike and now alone, Nigeria for all will start to be. More greese to your elbows.

@UCHE BRIGGS: I strongly

@UCHE BRIGGS: I strongly believe this forum is meant for intellectuals...Nigerians have every right to go on strike or peaceful protest to "SAY NO" to devilish government policies...
UCHE: if you think your mere threat or the so called Niger-Delta threat could stop PENGASSAN, just try it..........."a word is enough for a wise"

Enough is Enough

Labour and other stakeholders in the fuel subsidy batter have done the us proud thus far but shoud not over estimate their their success and power. It is better to strike a deal ha when the ovation is loudiest

Is this democracy?

Imagine what could have happened in America if Obama ignored the resolutions of both congresses and David Cameron ignored the resolution of the house of commons and the house of Lords. Is democracy in America and the UK different from Nigeria? Why is David Mark and Aminu Tambuwal participating in the so called negotiation after their respective houses had passed a resolution asking for reversal? Pls educate me more.

ARITHMETIC LACUNA

To me, N4.3T ( for 2012 Budget(Capital &Recurent Exp) minus(-) N1.3T (for Fraudulent Fuel Subsidy (which is not reflected on the Budget)) = N4.3T + N0.0T = N4.3T.
Hence, the Budget leaves ZERO Allocation to Subsidy Reinvestment Programe (SURE) = NOTHING ON NOTHING. Thus, I neva expect nor can I ask for anything from Kolade Ctee cos Nobody promise me anything arithmetically.

TO THE LABOUR LEADERS I SAY THANK YOU.

These promises a lot  as Lakemfa & Omar have, for the first time, refused to be bribed- sources have evidence of labour being promised millions of  dollars by Govt. & Dangote, brought in by Goodluck & by selfish attitude to proctect his stolen advantage which is losing millions every day from the strikes.

Next week is the most important week in Nigeria's history as the masses will be pushing for an end to corruption and an end to tax payers feeding & fueling politicians who are paid salaries just like all of us but the danger is that the corrupt govt. will do all in their power to end this strike next week & sources say they have agreed to revert to 65 Naira so as to deflect attention from their huge salaries & allowances.

To Nigerians i say we do not stop Occupy till Corruption is stopped & the politicians take a 50% cut in salary & stop all allowances bar overtime which they hardly do.

pray 4 Nigeria

who go better go better. Amen

Nigerian Proverb

May Allah Forgive GEJ.Neva trust a man who had no shoes.

WARNING TO PENGASSAN: Let the truth be told for once.

It is now obvious that the NLC and TUC instead of representing nigerians are representing some interest group whose main aim is to dethrone the govt. of Jonathan; going by their rejection of the recent offer made to them by F.G(to reserve to N65 and remove subsidy by April after F.G must have put some basic structures on ground). Rather, they are busy sponsoring protest in lagos and abuja using the masses who know little or nothing about the real plan. But let it be clear that if PENGASSAN dare shut down oil production as they have threathened, we in the Niger-delta will make sure that they will never return to continue oil production.

wetin dey happen

the major problem in removal of fuel subsidy is Timing. it was ill timed, and without proper sensitization, people were not aware of the time the subsidy would be removed. hence people went about their normal Christmas celebrations and others that follow throughout the week, suddenly on new year eve the subsidy was removed, petrol price rose from N65 to N141 a litre
why did Jonathan decide to implement, such a crucial issue, like a coup against Nigerians, what could have prompted him to choose this period, when the government was still in deliberations with other agencies and organisation about the deregulation of the downstream sector, this unanswered question has left the country in strike action and mass protests with meetings that turnout deadlock. with Nigerians demanding for a total reversal to N65 while the government seeks for a little reduction of price from N141

The thiefing ministers

GEJ hypnotized by d ministers, ngonzi okonje iweala, danzini maduoke, adoke bello.God is exposing them. They wil be disgraced wholy with their household.Imagine ngonzi okonje buying a house over #1.2b in abuja, justice minister adoke with his hidden bank accounts in zenith bank, diamond bank etc.Where were GEJ,CBN SANUSI AND EFCC when these thieves soars? It is what the masses enjoyed that is itching these thiefing politicians that will die on the left hand side of JESUS CHRIST.

Suggested Way forward for Mr President

Mr President, please consider the suggestions below for the sake of the poor

(a) Stop fuel importation
(b) Let Nigerians use whatever fuel that is refined locally,

(c) introduce fuel rationing, give priority fuel allocation to the mass transit scheme and other key areas, Car owners should consider using the mass transit buses to cut fuel consumption
(d) setup high powered committe comprising labour etc to monitor/audit fuel consumption and distribution.
(e) Any investor not willing to build refinery in Nigeria should forget it.

With these, you have saved money from subsidy on imported fuel
Improve accountability as Nigerians will know the actual quantity refined, consumed and the costs
Win back the trust of the poor masses and Nigerians at large

reasonable

it seem u re benefitting from what govt is doing to the masses.i want to let you know that people re suffering and an hungry man is an angry man.if you really have feeling for the masses you wouldn't say this,it is better to keep quiet than to be saying rubbish.watch what you will be saying
