"OCCUPY WARRI"-Unemployed Youths And Students Stop Gov. Uduaghan Birthday Party In Warri

By SaharaReporters, New York

Youth groups in Warri, Delta state yesterday took to the streets to protest mass unemployment in the state. The unemployed graduates led by a youth activist and leader of the "unemployed Graduates Association of Nigeria, Progress Omo-Agege forced the governor of the state, Mr. Emmanuel Uduaghan to abandon his birthday party scheduled for the city.

Mr. Uduaghan and his guests fled the city after the protesters blocked major streets and highway leading to Warri metropolis chanting revolutionanry songs.

Omo-Agege told SaharaReporters today that the protests which was sparked off by the recent resignation of the governor's special assistant on student affairs, Fredrick Mosheshe, would likely continue until some of their grievances are addressed.

Well said fellow anonymous

Well said fellow anonymous Nigerian...

Nigerians should remember

Nigerians should remember that what started in Tunisia and trickled down to Egypt,Libya,Yemen,Syria and all over the middle East was as a result of one unemployed university graduate who set himself on fire after been humiliated by the police as he was hawking on the street side to provide food for his family. This gave rise to what is known today as THE SPRING RISE.Nigerians have no life at all, and for them to clitch to their lives , they are misleading themselves because when you have no food to eat,no power for light,no security, no roads, no water to drink, and no plans of getting a job in future, your life does not met the difinition of what life is suppose to be

Good point

Good point

Many have the same thought,

Many have the same thought, we need a leader to organize the revolution

CALLOUS LEADERS

See what you have done to yourselves. He used you to rig elections and dumped you. Now you are shouting.I am worried are they protesting that their benefactor Mosheshe or that Uduaghan has not performed?
The like of Uduaghan are scattered all over Nigeria rising from the head and they should be stopped from continuing with their prodigal, wasteful and unmindful spending of our collective resources/wealth not minding the level of abject poverty befalling the entire country look at Education,road,housing,health,power/energy,security etc the basics of life all failing in Delta state and Nigeria at large
WE RE YET TO SEE THE WORST
ARISE O COMPATRIOT
STOP BAD LEADERS NOW
STOP BRIBRY/CORRUPTION
STOP ILLEGALITY
STOP FAVOURITISM
STOP MONEY LAUNDRY
LETS FIGHT FOR TRUE FEDERALISM
BETTER GOVERNANCE TO BETTER OUR SOCIETY
OR FACE THE SCOURGE OF LIFE/WAR

NON-VIOLENT REVOLUTION IS DUE

We invite all Nigerians with a passion for change who believe we can become better than we are to join the advocacy for change through the platform of A NONVIOLENT REVOLUTIONARY MOVEMENT on facebook. visit our page TODAY

THE BARRIER OF FEAR HAS BEEN BROKEN

The barrier of fear has been broken, so our leaders had better begin the process of putting their houses in order. Failing to do so, they may live to regret or die to buried like chickens. The consciousness is here as you can see. The blind does not need anyone to tell him if salt is in the meal!

I think it's time our leaders knew

I am always worried how insensitive our leaders are. How can they enjoy celebrating their birthdays in such midst of abject poverty. Stopping that celebration is a good thing, let extend it to all the states and levels of government. By telling our leaders that they should recognize the level of poverty and frustrations in the country.

Warri enough is enough.

Warri enough is enough. Youths it is time for you to swing into action. No more collecting of money from bab government go ahead we are behind you, all the way from diaspora. All youths in Nigeria should be bold and come out man die but once. Please do not collect money. Do not sell your future And the once of your family. Think nigerians think our youth you are the maker of your future.this is the said time.

Occupy Warri

I am worried are they protesting that their benefactor Mosheshe or that Uduaghan has not "performed"? because I know how we dey do am for delta, there will be settling and calming down. We all know that the average youth does not have the intestical fortitude because our tribal sentiments tell us to support a thief when he his from your own side of the divide and fight the one that is not as some did on this very forum. it is when we can no longer feed ourselves for a whole day then we we will be ready.

You are wrong. Everybody must

You are wrong. Everybody must contribute wherever they are. Conspirators also abound both within and in the diaspora.

DONT SET NIGERIA ON FIRE FROM FOREIGN LANDS

Those in the diaspora are always the ones pushing for revolution or mass unrest to challenge the system. It is high time the moved their asses back home to lead the fight, instead of fooling ignorance ones amongst us. That is how the likes of Bola Tinubu ran to exile during the June 12 struggle only for them to come back and reap the benefit after the battle is won. Nigerians are no fools, if you people want Arab Spring to be replicated in Nigeria, you should leave foreign Lands and come back home to organize the struggle. If Libyans in diaspora did not come home to join the revolution, victory against Gaddafi wouldn't have been possible

See what you have done to yourselves.

See what you have done to yourselves. He used you to rig elections and dumped you. Now you are shouting. What ye sow, ye shall reap.
Deltans and other Nigerians must know that we have a common problem. This transcends all divides. Our leaders are our greatest enemies. Consequently, our collective anger should be directed towards them. Period! Make society uncomfortable for them. Boo them and their families wherever they go. Redicule them.

we are inteligent people

we are inteligent people, even more inteligent than our so called inteligent officers.....i know we can handle this better than libya and egypt.....lets avoid blood shed unless they start it, but we can inteligently run them out of office....i have good plans on ground...at times i wonder if there is an evil spirit that enters this leaders once they take oath of office...some one you knew well before election i mean selection would just change overnight and become daft...look at the man in abia that people voted for while he was in detention...i thought he was going to be the best governor, but he is still number one from bottom......i wonder what all these aba marketters are waiting for

It's Time To Rise Up Against Irresponsible People in Govt.

If all the youths in Nigeria could rise up in their various states and local govt against irresponsible people/leaders in govt, the Nigeria that we all desire will emerge very soon. Enough of siddon look attitude which has turned many to destitudes.

It is very annoying to see how many misguided people in govt are taking their people for granted and spending peoples' money as if it is their personal wealth. The like of Uduaghan are scattered all over Nigeria and they should be stopped from continuing with their prodigal, wasteful and unmindful spending of our collective wealth & money.

START OF NIGERIAN REVOLUTION

Nigerian Revolution Starts in Warri, Delta State as the SA to the Delta State Governor on Student Affairs, Comarade Fredrick Mosheshe tenderes his resignation from Government due to the failure of the Uduaghan Administration to proffer a solution to the massive unemployment confronting graduates of Delta State Origin. This is a national call to all youths to rise up and fight visionless leadership and sycophancy displayed by idiots who call themselves custodians of our collective destiny as a people.

yea

Really, I was wondering if Nigeria is actualy devoid of charismatic youth leaders that could bring about a youth driven revolution in Nigeria.Seriously, if the youths decide not to carry their cross; then they will be the worse for it.The only solution to the problem Nigerians are facing is to mobilise youths to take back their stolen wealth from those wicked leaders that knows nothing but to oppress after wanton looting.Invade everywhere folks and salvage your situation.Chase them away.

Nigerians Saving Nigerians:

Occupy Nigeria.

I applaud the youths in Delta state, for their bravery. Now occupation must be purposeful and the world media has to be aware of the situation. Be prepared to face hash treatment due to currupt police and Army units. Be brave because the world community are aware of the massive deceptions of our elected dishonorable leaders.
Get your social media outlet, your cameras out, for they will be handy for massive transfer of pictures and comments. It is criminal for children to be hocking friuts in the streets when they should be in the classroom, while the honorable annioted ones are spreading the countries resources overseas in the name of unaccounted contracts with their croonies.
Most of us in the diaspora will make sure the information are always current.

Yeye youths, at last they are

Yeye youths, at last they are waking up from their deep slumber. let see whether they can sustain the tempo, i wont be surprised if Uduaghan breaks their rank and file before the end tomorrow with peanuts of cash. Time will tell!!
