Officials Deny Militant Attack On Government High School In Kano

It's not so bad you messed the news up, what matters is that nobody got hurt. I do physical therapy at home and I was wondering yesterday if I wouldn't do more good in a country at war, due to the fact that I could heal some of them.

It's very good this was only a rumor, some parents can't afford to go and check the facts for themselves, because they live so far away from this school. I can imagine the mayor and the police have no masters of organizational leadership, but really, they shouldn't base their news on a written message alone.

I am not a psychologist or nurse, but our children are dozens of times more likely to be killed by violence than fire, and thousands of times more likely to be seriously injured by violence as compared to fire. Yet, in any school you can look around and see fire sprinklers, smoke alarms, fire exits, and fire extinguishers. If we can spend all that money and time preparing for fire (and we should, since every life is precious) shouldn't we spend time and money preparing for the thing that is far more likely to kill or injure a child?

When I first signed in for a teacher's career, I knew it will be tough, but I have never thought at it as being among top ten most challenging careers. The teachers here should have their wages tripled, because their job also involves surviving and protecting the innocents.

From what I could understand, the attack happened near the school, it wasn't intended at the school itself. It was good it happened late at night, though, imagine what would have been if they had decided to strike in the middle of the day. That's why I've always said we need more people that have a career in nursing in these troubled times.

Anyone reading your crap would think there was a basis for it. But of course, like most works of fiction, it unravels at the end. So Boko Haram which has been plaguing GEJ's administration, costing billions in security, is all of his own doing? You certainly need a fertile imagination to conjure up such a scenario. Sahara reporters you guys need to really confirm stories before reporting, for crying out loud any parent who has child(ren) in that school could have easily gotten a heart attack from your reports yesterday.
