PHOTONEWS: Petrol Tanker Crashes, Blocks Abuja Road

A tanker loaded with gasoline is lying on its back along Minister Hills–Mabushi highway in Abuja.
The tanker somersaulted last night as its driver lost control of the vehicle as he descended the hill. No casualty was recorded in the accident.
The tanker somersaulted two times and fell and then blocked part of the road.
The driver and other occupants of the tanker escaped unhurt.
However, this afternoon fuel began gushing out of the tanker posing serious danger to road users and residents in the city.
The accident has already caused a busy traffic snarl along Kubwa road this morning.
Policemen, Firefighters and Federal Road Safety officials were seen at the scene of the accident preventing the residents from scooping fuel and making an effort to safely discharge the content of the tanker.
A police officer on the scene said that they are making an effort to get Julius Berger construction company to vacate the tanker and move it from the way to end the blockade caused by it.
Scores of Nigerian have been killed in fires caused by explosion from petrol tankers.

A big impact for this accidents and there's a possibility to explode this truck. While there was time to spend by repairing and wrapping in car wraps orange county.

This incident is very common. We're just glad that the riders of this tanker is safe. I suggest drivers would get quality assurance certification training for them to know the best practices to handle cases like this.

Are they trying to say that both NPF/FRSC do not have the capacity to evacuate the crashed gasoline tanker without waiting for Julius Berger to come to their rescue. This is unacceptable because every year, billions of tax payers money go to these agencies to enable them get equipped so that they can respond to this kind of situation swiftly.
Why have we refused to grow in this country.

Nigeria is not a Country but a Continent. 100% resource control is what the Country of the SS & SE peoples want. We cud have paid tax to a federating central Govt just as it is in Russia, Saudi, America and elsewhere, but we have now resolved to be and live in our own blessed country and are ready to use our resources to defend our peoples, protect our interests and fight any occupying alien government from land, sea and air.
