The Papacy of Pope Benedict XV1 was never inspirational. You have to be good or better to follow and better the act of your popular predecessor. The inability of this is the burden of Pope Benedict XV1. He never measured up to Pope John Paul 11 amidst the problems that overwhelm the Catholic Church in his time.

As Pope Benedict XV1 has no reported illness in association with his age at 85 year old, he should be fit to have carried on until his death. But his failure to provide effective leadership to the Catholic Church and rest of the Christian denominations actually propelled him to resign rather than the excuse of age and wearing out. He did not want to see Christianity decline on his shoulder.

This brings to question the said spiritual method of selecting the right leader for the Catholic Church. Was the Holy Spirit wrong in directing the Cardinals to appoint Pope Benedict XV1 or his appointment was rigged? ----

The Pope is intellectually and mentally far better than you, yet he has thrown in the towel. When will you stop embarrassing the country with your unintelligence and drunkenness by taking a cue from the Pope?

President GEJ, you should take example from Pope Benedict XVI's courage and wisdom to please step down. GEJ, Nigerians are tired of your lack of knowledge in running the Nigerian Government. We need someone from the South who has the wisdom & knowledge to run government. GEJ, you were made vice president to Umaru Yar'adua to please the South but your choice as a vice president was not the right choice. The North wanted a dummy to be vice president that will not pose a threat to their man, Yar'adua hence you were picked by their surrogate OBJ to do their biding for them. The North were so blind that they did not recognized the ailment of their brother, Umaru Yar'adua & they went along with his choice and later complained that they were duped by OBJ. You blame someone who recommends a bad wife to you, but if the wife is a good wife no one hears anything about the good recommendation.

One can truly hope that GEJ learnt sombrely from this. If somebody feels or knows he is no longer competent, he should have the courage to resign as did the pope, and that is called wisdom according to Jonathan. Then one wonders why he has not exercised wisdom and do the right thing, resign! It is obvious his capability cannot cope again in providing good administration to Nigeria. Let him search his conscience just like the pope did if he has one.
