Save Nigeria Group To Mark Anniversary Of “Occupy Nigeria”

The Save Nigeria Group (SNG) has announced a roundtable dialogue on January 14 to commemorate the 2012 street revolt of the people of Nigeria against the culture of corruption in the country.

 

In a press statement, SNG spokesman Yinka Odumakin said the event, which will take place at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, will focus on “Nigeria’s fiscal and monetary crisis: The way out”.

 

It will have such panelists as popular economist, Henry Boyo; renowned columnist and economist, Dr. Dele Sobowale; Chairman of the Editorial Board of Punch Newspapers, Mr. Segun Adediran; and representatives of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

 

The event, which will start at 10 am, will also feature a photo exhibition on the protest.
