Pastor Bakare seems to be hated by some and like by many. The point is that; Someone has to fight for the masses. The blatant corruption in Abuja is just too much. No one seem to want to come out and condemn those in power and looting us to death but this man is doing his very best and he should be appluaded.

Pastor Tunde has turned his pulpit of glorifying God to attacking political opponnents. That is a pity on the man of God.Who on earth is not gonna die. Jesus said in the book of Revelation that : behold i come quickly with my reward in my hand to give to each an everyone. I f you are preaching what God has placed in your mind, go ahead, on the contrary if you preach to gain cheap popularity, then you better repent. The Buhari you so cherished is the most deadly snake you never know. May God open up your eyes to see who you are.

The issue is not whether 'Pastor' Bakare was a gadfly 2 years ago, but what he has become now. He is a FAILED POLITICIAN, who lost an election last year; and a supporter of a DICTATOR THAT SINGLE-HANDEDLY AND INFAMOUSLY TERMINATED THE 2ND REPUBLIC LIKE AN ARMED ROBBER. Don't be silly!! Bakare was invited by an illiterate SSS message sent to him. Go and read it. The SSS even said that Bakare would interrogate one of the them due to the grammatical error in the letter.

Why is Bakare threatening AIT when Otedola has threatened him with a legal action? In Nigeria, once you are in SSS office, people automatically assume you are under arrest.

The SSS did not go to Bakare and take him to their office. If they did, he would not have being able to say he was not arrested. The SSS calls it "arrest" when they take people to their office for interrogation.

If pastor Tunde is the man he say he is, he would have simply issued a statement to expose the lies AIT broadcasted. The anger expressed in the letter is that of a man whose hidden agenda has been uncovered.

Information is power, but when the source is not reliable, that is a problem for the people listening. So, Who paid AIT to lie? How money did they get for lying to us? This country is where it is today mostly because, we the citizens have consciously or unconsciously refused to SPEAK UP against the ills and terrible stuff being perpetrated by our leaders and their friends and cronies.
I'm really not interested or bothered by what pastor Bakare said or is still saying, the fact still remains that he is at least making some effort to get out leaders to listen to the cry of the masses. If all we do is criticize and hush-up those that are expressing their frustrations over this government and it's inability to deliver, them we should be ashamed of ourselves.
Anyone who and thinks it convenient to criticize and castigate those who are even making some effort to speak up against the this government and it's associated ills, is not fit to be a Nigerian.

u are one of those paid to do the hatchet job for GEJ just like AIT. Don't usurp Abati's office abi he has paid u to appear on this forum. I often find that people that criticise and abuse others cannot stand it when they are in the firing line. Bakare is upset and threatening Fire and Brimstone and potential Law suit over a phone in program by AIT asking their viewers what they thought about Bakare campaigning from the pulpit. And Bakare takes offence at this!

Right-thinking readers should not be quick to condemn AIT, as it was Bakare's Lawyers, and not AIT that used the words DISGRUNTLED and LOWERED HIS ESTEEM, ETC, while describing Bakare's feelings. AIT simply did a program and they have no control over how the audience reacts, just like SR. And if the verdict, as echoed by the presenter, is that Bakare must stop using the House of God for politics, that is in line with the message I have been preaching over the issue! 'Pastor' Bakare's 'sermon' to LR members was politicking, pure and simple! He did not call the President to address any issues, but to RESIGN or be IMPEACHED or expect a REVOLT!

WHat give us impression that what pastor tunde bakare was not the the message he receive from God, Elisa,nathan rebuke their kings for wrong doing why not bakare, rebuking jonathan for bad government. What we had been bad is if what he is saying are not what jonathan are guilt of then will say is propaganda. We will always have sentiment to issue. If jonathan was a muslim they will have said bcos he is amuslim, that was y pastor is condemning. Or bcos he is from south south. I do not know why AIT, with its claim to objectivity and truth will rewrite a "story" that was fully reported in the The Punch Newspaper. It was no longer news that Pastor Bakare was summoned by SSS on a sermon he preached in his church on Sunday. he went there with Yinka Odumakin and armed himself with a copy of the sermon. After which the SSS pleaded with him to tone down on his message. Invitation to appear before any law enforcement agency is not same as detention. Any one can be invited for the purpose of clearing an issue or shedding more light on some security information/report. Once that is done to the satisfaction of the officers involved you are let go. That cannot amount to detention. I think the news editor of AIT knows this. They are just out there to disparage the person of Pastor Bakare. If they do not retract and apologise to him, they know the implication. LIBEL is an actionable wrong.

As usual, Bakare must grandstand, even for the minutest of issues. What is wrong with Bakare telephoning AIT to correct what seems like a genuine mistake, and without all the drama? If he wasn't arrested or detained up to 48 hours, a simple telephone call to AIT to correct the report would have sufficed without anybody knowing about it or getting involved.

As far as AIT is concerned, as well as majority of us (except his close confidants), Bakare was with the SSS on account of his fiery campaign, couched as sermon. Whether arrested or invited, it is immaterial. He did not make a public show of his release, as he often does, or make a statement, thus giving the impression he was still in detention. While AIT thinks he was still in detention up to 48 hours, others think 6 or 8 or 2 or even 20 hours. But what does it matter, how many hours it was? The bottom line is that he was detained, whether as a result of arrest or invitation. Why should this bother anybody?
