Governor Ramalan Yero is a muslim from the Northern part of the state. Ambassador Nuhu Bajoga is the immediate past chairman of the state Muslims Pligrims Welfare Board, in a complex setting like that of Kaduna the possibility of muslim muslim joint ticket cannot be ever contemplated. There is no doubt Bajoga is from the Southern part of the state. But the realistic snenario is for any of the younger elements like Rev Hayab to be nominated to the vacant position because they can work harmoniously with the new Governor without rancour and can be able to appeal to the consciousness of the youth and even the religious leaders. With people like Rev Hayab in the saddle as Deputy Governor of the state, principles of religious tolerance, peaceful coexistence, equity and fair representation can be guaranteed.
