Soldiers stand guard after security forces broke up a protest over rumors of alleged vote counting irregularities, as voting continued for an unplanned second day in Accra, Ghana, Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012.

Police fired water cannons and tear gas on hundreds of opposition party supporters who were protesting outside a house where they suspected ballots from the presidential and parliamentary election were being counted by a private company.

Electoral commission spokesman Christian Owusu-Parry said the accusations were unfounded. See Video on Youtube: http://youtu.be/EvjDA_5gKew

Ghana Election!

They allowed Obasanjo to head the AU /Ecowas observation mission to the Ghana election.... The moment I saw OBJ visiting Ghana police HQs, Talking and teaching the Ghanian electorial official and party reps "nonsense" I told Ghanians that they would have problem. This is a man who has bequeated a fraudlent electoral process to his country Nigeria, yet the world thinks Obasanjo is the best thing ever to come out of Africa. Until all realise that this man Obasanjo is the biggest fraud ever to walk this planet earth., they would continue to honor him. Ghana has always had it so well and now that OBJ got involved and thought them do or die politics..., see what is happening!

Election riggers should learn

Election riggers should learn a lesson from america where there no election rigging, no stealing of ballot box and they conduct free fair and credible election

Ghana Election-2012

From all indications, we can see there is no election or any democratic process in the developing world. What we have on the ground is autocracy and a selective process of priviledged individuals in place to loot the treasury. They call themselves politicians without any clearcut programmes to address the social problems of their domains. From gun-totting and trigger-happy vagabonds in uniforms to the top of the hierachy paying people to kill , maim and dehumanised to retain the status quo.
Western democracy is totally alien to Africa, so it is about time africans go back to the feudal structure that the ancestors institutionalised if they plan to have peace. The colonial powers destroyed that institution because it was a big threat to their desire to wrestle power from them and enrich themselves by stealing the resources.

When Mullah Buhari lost big

When Mullah Buhari lost big hell broke loose and the Hausa Fulani mob ran amock rampaging and killing non Arewa people in sight what did the Nigeria army do? They sat on the fence watching the Mohammedans lynching non Arewa indigenes. What is worse, the Mohammedan soldiers in the Nigerian military were giving protection to the lynching mob.

Is is the idea of one Nigeria for you?
